POV Sophie
" I want you to tell each other your deepest darkest secret I don't care if you've told someone before it just has to be your deepest secret." Tiergan says
I probably just visibly paled. " F-Fitz you g-go f-first." I stammered out.
" Okay, Sophie I... I-I love you.." Fitz whispered
" What?" I ask. He whispered his secret and I didn't hear it.
Fitz smirked, " I said that I love you Sophie."
FLASHBACK
" What the heck! You are not supposed to meet my mom without telling me! She could kill you!" Keefe yells in my face
" Well so Verdi! Why are you so fixed on my safety when you don't care about your own!"
" You run off to see my mom without me! Does it ever cross your mind how bad that hurts me! YOU RUN OFF THE FACE MY PSYCHO MOM ALONE!!!" By now tears were pouring out of my eyes and Keefe's.
" SAYS THE GUY WHO WOULD DIE BEFORE I GOT A CUT!!! WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH MY SAFETY!!!!!!!!" I scream at him.
" MAYBE BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!!!! DID THAT EVER CROSS YOUR MIND!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU AND HAVE FOR YEARS BUT YOU'RE JUST TOO OBLIVIOUS TO SEE IT!!!!!!! DO YOU NO HOW BAD IT HURT TO SEE YOU WITH FITZ!!!! I TRIED TO STOP LOVING YOU BUT I CAN'T, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY I CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU!!!!!!" Keefe screams this and then leaps away.
Keefe loves me? Keefe loves me! And I love him!.
" Keefe-" Oh no Keefe is gone.
I run upstairs faster than I've ever run before. Ignoring Grady and Edaline when they ask what's wrong. Halfway up the stairs I shout. " SHORES OF SOLACE!" By the time I get to the Leapmaster 200 the light path is ready for me and I charge into it. I'm already running as I glitter into being on the beach. Lord Cassius yelps as I barge past him. I take a flying leap and hit the bottom of the Vortinator just as it starts moving. I run off towards Keefe's room and barge through the door to find a sobbing Keefe sitting on his windowsill drawing something in his gold notebook. He turns around just in time to have me tackle him while saying. " It was you, it was always you. it was never Fitz he is nothing more than a friend."
Keefe was about to say something but the words never left his mouth because I cut him off with a kiss. The kiss was everything. It was soft yet passionate. Firm yet smooth.
When we broke away breathless, Keefe whispered, " I love you Foster, my Foster."
" I love you too Keefe, I know you're broken and I'm going to fix you, even if it takes a lifetime." I respond.
" Sophie will you be my girlfriend?" Keefe asks, and I don't need to be an empath to know he is scared of my answer.
" Why wouldn't I?"
Keefe looks confused " Is that a yes?"
" Yes of course." This time Keefe pulls me in for another kiss.
FLASHBACK OVER
I look over at the clock and decide to ditch the rest of the lesson.
