Chapter 34

AUTHOR'S POV

"Okay let's head inside"
Jin said, motioning his men to help them inside the old looking warehouse.

"I'm coming tae"
Jungkook whispered, before following everyone inside.

All of them entered the creepy place quietly, even though the whole place was surrounded by Jin's men, they didn't want to alert their enemies.

As they walked further they could hear some distant voices, Jin asked a man to call for Mark and inform him about their arrival.

They had decided beforehand that they would rescue taehyung first who would be immediately sent back to their home along with Jungkook.

Jungkook walked a little forward near a window of some room which seemed to be covered by blinders, he could finally identify some voices clearly.

"Don't give him food again till he begs for it!! Little bitch"
Kook heard Mr.Kim speak in a angered tone.

"That slut needs to know his place!! Let him starve for a few days, he'll forget to throw tantrums"
Jhope said smirking evilly.

"The real fun would begin when that bastard Jeon will beg us to release his little bitch"
Jhope said clapping his hands excitedly while Mr.Kim grinned wide at his comment.

Jungkook gritted his teeth in anger, hands forming into tight fist, as he heard them talking. He wanted to wipe off that smug look from those fuckers faces.

"Jungkook"
Jin called out quietly, motioning kook to follow him.They walked forward to a corridor which looked dull.

"Stay alert"
Jin reminded his men, as they reached a door. Kook felt his heart beating widly in his chest, he just wanted to hug his baby chose to his chest.

Two men opened the door for them slowly to avoid noises. They entered inside the huge room which was totally dark with only a single window as a source of sunlight.

They walked further only to spot a fragile figure sitting at the farthest corner of the room with his head between his knees trying to make himself as smaller as possible.

Kook gulped hardly while walking forward towards tae who was sniffing quietly.

"T-Tae b-baby-y"
Kook called choking up.

Tae lifted his head swiftly, frowning a little to see a lot of people in front of him. He whimpered as soon as he recognised the familiar figure of a certain raven haired male.

"H-Hyung"
He cried out weakly, extending his hand towards his husband.

Kook bursted out in tears followed by tae both of them too overwhelmed. Kook embraced tae tightly in his arms, settling down on the dirty floor of the dark looking room.

Jin and the other men looked at the couple sympathetically, their desperation and longing were very clear from the way they held onto each other.

Kook finally calmed down a little bit, shushing tae and caressing his back slowly. He had to assure tae many times, who still believed that kook might disappear.

"Mr.Kim"
Kook whispered out slowly, because tae had slept in his embrace after weeping too much.

Jin nodded his understandably, as kook stood up with tae in his embrace, wobbling a little because of his injured leg.

Jin lead both of them outside the warehouse, helping them into the car while signalling the driver once both kook and tae had settled down safely.

"Mr.Kim-"
Jungkook began, only to be cut off in between.

"Relax Jungkook. I'll make sure to capture those bastards. You should concentrate on taehyung for now"
Jin said, while he looked at tae with a concerned expression.

Kook nodded his head wordlessly, while the driver drove the car towards the hospital. He just wanted to make sure that those fuckers get what they deserve for trying to harm his husband and baby. But now he'll concentrate on tae's health, he had called the family members already who were eagerly waiting to see their beloved safe.

"Kookie"
Tae mumbled with a pained expression.

"I'm here baby. I'm here"
Kook whispered in tae's ear sweetly, caressing his back trying to ease his distressed state, from the looks of it his innocent husband was traumatized from the previous events. And who wouldn't be, he just wished that no major harm was caused to tae and his baby.

"Sir we're here"
The driver announced, getting out of the car to open the door for kook.

Kook picked up tae delicately, while walking inside the hospital hurriedly.

"Kook!"
He frowned turning his head hearing Joon calling him out. He sighed out a little relieved to see a doctor following Joon behind.

"Sir please place the patient here"
The doctor lead them inside a room and gestured kook to settle tae down on the hospital bed. He laid tae down as softly as he could, kissing his hand afterwards. He looked-- more like glared at the doctor, a silent warning to treat his husband carefully.

"We'll try our best Sir"
The doctor gulped intimidated. While kook walked out of the room heavy heartedly.

Kook walked out to see all the family members, Yoongi & Jimin looking at him in concern. Mrs.Jeon held his hand helping him to settle down on a chair while kook hugged her tightly, hiding his face in her neck finally breaking down.

"Shhh... it's gonna be okay son, our tae is a fighter"
Mrs.Jeon said caressing kook's head softly, silently praying to all the gods above for her children's happiness.
