AUTHOR'S POV

"Mr. Taehyung's family?"
The doctor called out exiting the room. Everyone immediately surrounded the doctor with anxious faces.

"Mr Taehyung and the baby both are safe and out of danger. We did full body check up just in case of any internal injury but nothing major was detected. The patient is stable for now but he might face some complications in the pregnancy because of the stress caused by the kidnapping. You'll have to very careful around the patient to ensure that he doesn't face any type of stress"
The doctor completed.

"W-What type of complications doctor?"
Jungkook questioned, his heart beating loudly in fear.

"We can't say clearly about it for now but we may have to keep Mr. Taehyung in a bed rest for a month or two. As soon as the patient wakes up we'll run some tests to give you all a clear picture. You can meet the patient in a while."
The doctor said before bowing down a little leaving to check up on his other patients.

Kook teared up again cursing their fate. Why was God being so unfair?! Didn't he trouble tae enough?! Why did they have to suffer like this?!!
He thought angrily, he wanted to tear Jhope and Mr.Kim apart.

"Sir? You can meet the patient now. But one person at a time."
A nurse called out, snapping him out of his thoughts.

He looked at the family members standing up beside him, a desperate expression on his face.

"Go"
Mrs.Jeon whispered smiling a little as she wiped her tears while the others nodded along with her.

Kook walked inside the VIP room and why not it wasn't anyone it was Jeon Jungkook's husband, of course he was provided with the best facilities.

Kook settled down on the stool next to the hospital bed on which tae lied peacefully. His face was a little pale maybe because of the stress and exhaustion, but he still didn't fail to mesmerize kook. Tae looked like an angel fallen from the heaven. Kook sighed out in bliss as soon as he held tae's hand firmly in his rough hands, kissing it repeatedly.

"Missed you missed you so so much baby"
Kook mumbled cupping tae's face softly, yet again breaking into tears. If any employee from Jeon Corporation was to witness Jungkook right now they would be shocked out of their mind to see their confident boss in such a vulnerable state but this was his husband, his life was stuck in him. Even a scratch on his beloved's finger was like a disaster to him.

Kook slides next to tae on the hospital bed which was spacious enough for him to lie down comfortably with tae. He just wanted to hold his husband close to himself for now, so that's what he did. He gripped tae's waist softly, adjusting tae's head on his own shoulder. He closed his eyes in peace, finally he could breathe.

"I love you"
Kook confessed, kissing tae's forehead before drifting off to sleep.

"Kookie?"
Mrs.Jeon called out softly, peeking inside the hospital room. She was worried when kook didn't come out of the room for the next two hours.

Not hearing a reply, she frowned walking inside, she felt confused to see no one around but awwed silently as soon as she looked on the bed.
