One month later
Today is the last day of the competition. We have only remained three contestants ;my eldest brother,my cousin Tosh and I. And dad was right, the competition was hard especially when we were blinded and each of us were thrown to different parts in the forest and live there on our own for a week not caring if we will be attacked by animals. Some gave up on the second day but something no one knows about me, I love the forest and everything that comes with it especially the green color too bad I could never wear a great green attire.
At first I entered the competition just because I was bored and didn't have anything planned for the future and I didn't want mum to find a reason to marry me off but as competition went by and as competitive as I usually am, i enjoyed every minute of it. I knew my oldest brother would win even by just looking at him but I didn't care if I loose as long as I had fun, I was that bored.
The last competition was physical fighting and any weapon was allowed as long as you don't kill them and that's where dad was worried about.
Since I was child, dad had always favored me more, maybe because I looked more like his mom than my own family I don't know but he did and even when my younger sister Janet was born, it never changed and everyone knew but dad denied it Everytime.
Janet was mum's favorite mostly because they had identical looks, from hair to heights.
My brothers were mummie boys but took dad's features.
Since there was only three left, a coin had to be flipped to choose who would go with who. My brother and cousin were to start and whoever wins, I had to fight them too.
