A/N double updating lets hope i can finish this chapter in 30 minutes :D :D
Carrie's POV
It had been a week after the incident. Also a week after New Year. So probably I know the drill.
College.
I'm now a senior in Northwest Christian University.
((A/N- calum must be rllyyyyyyy young here but this is fictional so YEAH HE'S 19 HERE))
As I walked down the familiar hall, I notice my best friend, Bree, waiting on a bench. When she sees me she smiles.
"How was Christmas?" she asks, excited to see me again.
I shove my hand into my tousled, blonde hair. "Boyfriend issues. Or maybe just be called Ex-Boyfriend issues."
She gasps, covering her mouthpiece. "Oh my god, what happened?!"
"Callum slept with Kelsey Greene. I found out." I sigh.
She tries fixing her beige beanie as we walked to class. "How?"
"I called him around ten-thirty, because he wasn't home yet."
((A/N shit i forgot ummm carrie and callum used to live together))
Bree seemed curious. "Did he pick up?"
"Yeah," I say. "When he thought he ended that call after sweet-talking me, he actually didn't. I was suspicious and I didn't hang up. Then I hear him say: "Shall we get back to business?" and that's when I knew."
Bree sighs. "I knew he wasn't good for you. By the way, there are loads of transferred seniors. I'll be your wing-woman."
I smiled. Bree was also so sweet. But also kind of nosey on my love life. "Thanks, but after what happened with Callum, I don't think I can date anyone at the moment."
We were at the door of our first class. "Okay then," Bree smiles back, her eyes brown eyes gleaming. "Tell me if you are."
"We better get to class,"
"We already are!"
"Oh,"
As we enter our class, I scanned the whole area. I can see some transfers, like what Bree said. But one of them catches my eye.
It was him.
As he sees me, he grins. "Hey, Car!"
Oh great. He even had the time to make a nickname for me.
"You know that dude?" Bree elbows me. I wince in pain.
Without any choice, I sighed. "Mm hmm,"
She nudges me again, but softer this time. "He's a cutie, ain't he?"
Already knowing that she wanted me to flirt with him or what, I eyed her. "He...he saved me. Yesterday,"
Her eyes grew wide. "From what?"
"Being hit by a car,"
"Oh my god."
We both walked to our chosen seats: the last row in the last column. The whole place still seemed empty. There were only the new students around.
Suddenly, Calum was walking towards me with his bag in one hand and some other stationery in the other. "Mind if I sit next to you?"
I shook my head, "No,"
He smiles and places the stuff right next to me. As soon as possible, we begin making small talk.
"So, I didn't have any idea you'd be here," Calum says, grinning. He begins fiddling with his brown-beaded bracelet.
