Carrie's POV
I glanced at the mirror one more time and fixed my black Arctic Monkeys spaghetti top and my skinny jeans. I gave my blonde hair a final pat and smiled.
Now, where are my Batman Converse?
I walked around my room, helplessly looking for my favorite shoes. When the door suddenly opened.
Shit, it can't be...
"Oh, hey Carrie. You going somewhere?"
Bree.
I swiftly stood up, trying to make up an excuse. I kinda wanted my date to be private. "I-I um...yeah, I am going somewhere..."
"To where?"
"Uhh...Target."
Bree eyes me. "Didn't you go yesterday?"
I stuttered even more. "I-I forgot som-something."
"Which is—wait, wait, wait," Bree suddenly grins. "Are you...?"
Dammit. I had no other choice. This girl is smart.
She gasps. "Why didn't you tell me?? I could help you!"
I shrugged. Suddenly, my phone buzzed on the study table. I took it and saw...
Calum Hood.
"Ahh, it's him," I stuttered. "Call or don't call?"
"Call!"
I picked up, clearing my throat. "Hey, Cal. 'Sup?"
Bree waves, picking up my attention.
"'Sup?" She mouths. "Seriously?!"
"Sorry!" I mouthed back.
"Oh, I'm fine," Calum says into the phone. "By the way, I'm at the gate. You coming or what?"
I nodded, even though I knew he couldn't see me. "Yup! I'm heading down the stairs now."
"Why don't you use the elevator?"
"CARRIE!" Bree shouts, I signal her to shut up, but she wouldn't. "HELP ME! I CAN'T FIND MY EYESHADOW!!"
I hear Calum's laugh in the phone. "I can wait. The show doesn't start 'til 6.30 anyways."
"Thanks!" I sighed and hung up. "Bree, what the fuck was that for?"
"I don't know, but we need to find your shoes now!"
As I took a step forward, I trip over something.
"Oof!"
"There are your shoes!"
I got up and quickly put them on. I checked my pocket if my phone was there.
"All ready?" Bree asks. I nod. "Then get out there!"
*
"—crawling back to you." Both Calum and I sang along as the last song ended.
Actually, Calum got us the tickets with the backstage passes. Which probably means the later...
We both get to meet the whole band!
After the show, Calum and I headed towards the place where we'll meet the band. "What was your favorite song?" Calum asks out of the blue.
"Do I Wanna Know," I smiled. Then he smiled back.
