Chapter 10

It took me a while to forgive Wesley but I knew I couldn't stay mad at him forever. He has finally accepted that Scott and I are dating and he has actually been happy for us. My wrist was better but Scott kept it wrapped longer to make sure it was 100% okay. Deb was not happy to see my wrist wrapped and scolded Wesley for a whole week. Word quickly spread that Scott and I were dating which meant Nelson has stopped his advances. At least I had thought he stopped his advances until he trapped me in my office today. 

"Nelson move," I say sternly as I glare at the man who blocked my office door. 

"No," Nelson says walking towards me. "You are going to be at dinner tonight. 6 pm. Do you understand me?" 

"And if I don't show?" I ask. 

"That boyfriend of yours may find himself in a different timeline by the end of the week," Nelson says as he backs me up into the wall. 

"You wouldn't. That project is unstable." I say. "He might not come back"

"Then I guess I will see you at dinner tonight at 6?" Nelson asks pressing his hand against the wall next to me. 

"What's the restaurant's name?" I ask quietly

"I'll message it to you," Nelson says smiling. "I'm so glad you are agreeing to dinner"

"I haven't agreed to anything Nelson," I say.

Nelson looks at me slightly disappointed "I could just send him to the project as soon as we end our little conversation if you don't agree as well" Nelson says leaning closer.

I sigh defeated. "Okay" I say agreeing. "Fine I'll go"

"I thought that's what you would say. Good Girl" Nelson says before he dips his head down to kiss me gently. 

I could hear the sound of folders hitting the ground, causing me to push Nelson away. I make eye contact with Scott, who was now kneeling down to frantically pick up the folders he dropped. 

"Shit" I mumbled. I walk over and kneels down to help him. Neslon walks out of my office and walks away. I knew the asshole had a smirk on his face. Scotts hands were shaking. "Scott" I say quietly trying to get his attention. 

"Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. Wesley asked me to drop these files off with you. I will-"

"Scott" I say again finally getting him to look at me. His eyes filled with tears. "I didn't... He..." I tried to say explaining what he just walked in on.

"You don't have to explain" Scott says. 

"Scotty" I say my voice creaking slightly. Scott handed me the files before getting up quickly. "Scott please" 

Before I could say anything else he walked away. I look down at the files to see a note stuck to it I instantly recognized Scott's neat handwriting.

I let out a sob before I run to the first person I could think of, Wesley. When I got to his office, I could see both Deb and Wesley talking. They both stopped talking and looked at me. Worry crossed both of their faces seeing my tears. 

"Y/N what happened?" Wesley say grabbing me gently.

"Nelson... He.. he.. He made Scott" I tried to say sobbing in between words. 

"Hey hey sweetheart you gotta calm down. We can't understand you" Deb says sweetly. 

I take deep breathes to try and calm down. "Nelson threatened me. He told me that if I didn't go on a date that he was gonna make Scott a test patient for project pesasus. So I agreed to protect Scott but... but Nelson kissed me and Scott seen... And now Scott is upset and wont talk to me." I say as quickly as possible before I started to sob again. 

"Deb stay here with Y/N. I'm gonna go talk to Scott and then Nelson and I are gonna have a little talk" 

Deb pulls me into a tight hug. She rubs my back gently as she holds me trying to calm me down. Minutes went by but I still couldn't calm down. Tears still fell down my face quickly. Gently hands pull me from Deb before pulling me tightly against them. I instantly recognized Scott by the way he smelled. I started to cry harder. 

"I didn't... I didn't want him-"

"I know baby I know" Scott says. His voice was laced with tears. "Wesley told me. I knew you wouldn't but I was in so much shock I didn't know how to react" 

"I love you." I whimper. 

Scott moves me so he could kiss me deeply. When he pulls away he presses his forehead against mine. "I love you too" Scott says softly. 

"Y/N you are sharing an office with Scott from now on" I hear Wesley say when he walks in. "I can't trust others in this company apparently. I want your desk and things moved over immediately and Scott?"

"Yes sir?" Scott says looking over at Wes. 

"I don't want her out of your sight" Wesley says to him. 

"That's fine by me" Scott says holding me tightly
