*Mindy's POV*
I roll over and stretch my arms over my head until it feels like my spine is going to crack. Satisfied I squint at the sunlight streaming in from the window making the dull ache in my head grow stronger. I turn away with a huff and find Nike removing the curlers from her hair while admiring her reflection in the mirror. She's dressed in a white tank top, light blue jeans and a blue and black striped flannel shirt tied around her waist.
"Morning" she says with a huge smile. I try to hide the confusion on my face as I smile back at her. I vaguely remember last night events after my dare. Nike threw up, I threw up after her, we stuffed ourselves silly with bread in an attempt to evade a hangover and passed out after that. All of it with minimal talking and a drained expression on Nike's face. She wasn't even close to what she's feeling right now.
"What's the time?" I ask while lazily sitting up on my elbows. "Around 7:10. I'm leaving in 15 minutes" Nike answers while pulling out the last curler from her hair. WHAT?!
I nearly trip over my blanket as I climb out of bed and hurry into the bathroom. I dash out again when I realize my stuff are packed inside a backpack. Nike walks into the kitchen chuckling as I hurry back inside, muttering curses under my breath.
I quickly shower after brushing and pull on a white jumpsuit with a cropped silver jacket. I rummage through my bag and find my aviators in it's box. A note written in Emma's neat cursive says:
Throw out your contacts
Oh right..... that explains the weird pain around my eyes along with my headache. I spend what seems like ages, trying to coax my contacts out of my eyes.
"Are you done? I'm leaving" Nike announces in a sing song voice. "No wait for me" I yell back while groping around for my aviators. I smash them onto my face and wrench the door open. Nike has her Airforce 1's on with a brown paper bag in her hand while pacing around.
"Ready?" she asks after I slip my Converses on. I nod and grab my school backpack while following her out. Just as she's locking up, the door on the other side creaks open. I look over my shoulder and find Kade and his friend locking up as well. Please don't turn around at the same time.
Nike turns around and flinches when she Nate turns to face her. Her eyes roam over him- ripped jeans, white tee and a brown leather jacket. When she focuses on his face, I see hatred in her eyes as she glares at him. Kade turns around as well and swallows nervously. Yep the vibes right now could actually make us drop dead.
"Come on. We've got a train to catch" Nike says while grabbing my hand and dragging me down the stairs.
And the drama begins.

I had no clue as to what went on during study hall. I was on my third pill of codeine and honestly I can't feel a fucking thing. I did , however, notice Nike glaring at Kade's friend. He either stared at Nike for a weird amount of time or he was busy talking with his friends and flirting with girls. Weird. I did feel someone's eyes on me a couple of times but I hardly noticed; my head felt foggy.
After hours of weird glares and stares between Nike and the guy we finally made it to lunch. The guy tried to walk up to Nike to talk but she always walked off in the other direction, dragging me along.
"Why are we running from whoever that guy is?" I ask after we settle down at our usual table. Xander shuts his sketchbook and eyes us. "I noticed it too" he adds when Nike take a huge bite out of her burger without responding.
