"Only if your mother goes."
"What dad? But-."
"House full of boys, anything could happen."
"What? What house full of boys." Bryce said coming around the corner stuffing his face with marshmallows.
"Nothing-" karma groaned under her breath.
"They want to go to a barbeque with that stuck up team the warriors."
"Beth invited us." Brooke said pissed at this point.
"You guys have been spending much time around those little...things." Bryce said eyeing his sister hard. "They're our friends, don't you think we have friends besides the team?!"
"I'll say it again. Only if your mother goes."
"I second that."
"Bryce I swear to god-."
"You'll what, tell me lil sis you'll what." He said getting very close to her death glaring at her. Karma rumbled under her breath. "Fine. It's a deal, Melanie can come and Bryce can stay off of my ass." Karma said pissed going upstairs. "Language! Daniel shouted.
"Who do you think I get it from." She yelled back.

While it was now 2:30 the girls were getting ready. "I think she'll be cool. It's better she's coming and not dad." Brooke said as she curled her hair a bit at her bathroom sink. She and Karma video called getting ready. They've wanted their rooms connected for a while so they could be together more but that'll only happen if or when they move.
"Oh I don't even think they would want they're top rivals coach there." Karma said as she managed her frizzy hair all over the place.

"Don't worry, I'm a cool mom, I'll be chatting up with Beth either ways." Brooke's mom said as she walked in and said loud enough so Karma could hear. Karma and Brooke both chuckled.

"Ok and we're done!"
The girls walked out from the corner and put on a little show for they're dad and brother. Karma doesn't know when her father will come home, she's not sure he ever will, so she's just trying to wipe him out of her memory and enjoy these people.

"It's fine, but-."
"They look wonderful. Alright girls let's go. Melanie said grabbing her purse.

They arrived and Jamie answered the door. Beth greeted them and she and Melanie talked together while the team were waiting for the food to finish.

"Hey." Harlan said nervously. "Hi." Brooke smiled.
Karma held a bright thumbs up while chuckling at the two. "You're there number 1 fan girl." Conner said as he jumped her. Karma turned around and smiled. "Also yours to."

"Come with me." He said holding onto her hand and carrying her downstairs to his room.

Conner closed the door and sat on the bottom of his bed letting her look around. "Not much, just, you know."
"It's cool." She chuckled gliding her hand along his desk top. She then sighed and sat next to him. "So Why'd you bring me down here."
"Nothing just needed to clear my head. You helped me yesterday until my dad showed up."
"Wait so the Conner Payton is saying I helped him calm down from his oh so highs." Karma said smiling and getting up doing it sarcastically.
Conner rolled his eyes and chuckled at her. "Yeah your hugs or whatever."
"So. You on your High's right now." She said softly going in front of him slowly.
"Not right now but your magic could make me happier."
Karma smiled softly and placed her hands around his neck. Conner held her thighs and up along her ass and guided her to sit on his lap. He leaned his head on her chest closing his eyes and taking in the moment.
She massaged from the back of his neck to his head full of hair with her short acrylic nails, while Conner rubbed circles underneath her shirt.
Karma breathed out softly closing her eyes while falling into his touch, she couldn't get enough of it. Conner on the other hand wanted her more than anything now. He was falling for her, and quick too. He guided his hands along her back rolling up  up shirt letting that cold breeze hit her. She hissed at hit since his hands were so warm. "Con." She whispered as she slowly opened her eyes with his hair being messed up. He hummed looking up at her over him. "We gotta go, let's go." She slowly got up off of him as he groaned. "Come on Con we have to."

Sean was surrounded by his son's teammates answering questions and giving advice. "Hey uh, where's Conner." He asked after the questions stopped.
"He's still downstairs."
"Wait isn't he downstairs with that girl."
"No way the one he talks nonstop about?!
"Dude she must be getting ra-
"Dude!" They all stopped Dennis reminding him that Conner's dad was right there.
"Food ready outside boys!" Beth said walking in as they all almost trampled her.

Sean and Beth talked about their son a bit. She then sighed walking away leaving him alone in the kitchen.
Conner and Karma walked in the kitchen hand in hand but slipping apart once they saw his dad. Conner walked right past him although his dad tried to talk to him. Karma stopped to pour herself a drink.
Sean sighed and sat back on a island chair. Karma joined him few chairs apart. "He's trying you know." This caused Sean to look up. "Are you the girl they say Conner talks about a lot?"
"Um, I would hope so, Karmain but just call me Karma." They shook hands and talked about him a bit.
"Alright tell you what, get him prepared mentally for the game next week, no distractions."
"I'm no distraction, that's mostly Brooke." She said hopping off the counter and joining the boys outside.
