My uploading is going to be very sporadic unfortunately as alongside trying to get my associates degree I am also going to be having a fulltime job. POKERIDERS OOO AND BUILD KANTO SAGA: CHAPTER 1: A BEST MATCH OF MEDALS AND PEOPLE!

It was a humid day in Kanto. A young girl of about 6 years old with short blonde hair had just gotten lost on Route 1. This is Serena Gbena. The youngest daughter of Grace Gabena and younger sister of Yvonne "Y" Gabena . She had hoped moving to Kanto would stop giving her such anxiety about talking to new people, but it did not. She had been too shy to ask about the rules or what her target Pokémon of the scavenger hunt was.

"I told Mommy and big Sis I didn't want to come here! Why do they not listen?" Serena wondered out loud when suddenly a Pichu bolted right by her knocking her over.

"I knew it! I knew this forest was out to get me! MOMMY! BIG SIS!" Serena cried out as not she had injured her knee and was unable to move it. Suddenly the bushes began to rustle, and she tensed up.

"Oh no. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE ANOTHER POKEMON HERE TO ATTACK ME" Serena thought to herself.

"Hey Pichu, where'd you go?" A voice came from the bushes. That's when a raven-haired boy about her age came out. "Hey, are you ok?" the boy asked her after noticing she was crying.

"I banged my knee when this Pichu you were probably following rushed past me." Serena told him through tears. "It hurts so much. I'LL NEVER FIND MY MOMMY OR BIG SIS NOW!" She wailed.

"Hey, don't say that! Here let me help!" the boy said as he pulled out a handkerchief and wrapped her leg around it. "Here's a charm my big brother and mother do whenever this happens. FEEL BETTER, FEEL BETTER, FEEL BETTER RIGHT NOW!" the boy cried while waving his hands in front of her leg. It was small, but Serena honestly felt a bit better when he did that. She tried to stand, but nearly collapsed back down when pain began to sear through it.

"IT'S NO USE THE PAIN IS TOO MUCH!" she cried out. She was about to cry again when she noticed the boy had put his hand out to her for her to grab.

"NEVER GIVE UP TIL THE VERY END! That's what my big bro always says whenever a situation like this arises." The boy said giving her a confident looking smile.

"I know you're going to bring this up at some point, but I do not care if I win the scavenger hunt. Helping you right now is more important to me." The boy said. As such he held out his hand which caused Serena to hesitate for a moment before grabbing it.

The boy pulled but pulled a little too hard to where she slammed into his chest giving the appearance of them hugging. Serena blushed when she realized this had she looked at the boy she would have seen him blushing a bit too.

"See? You stood up! C'mon let's head back to camp!" The boy said before realizing something. "Hey, I never got your name. What is it?"

"Serena." She replied.
