Zahira, paced around her room close to tears . She could not believe her parents, how could they just decide her life like that .

She stopped pacing when the door to her room opened, there was only one person who could enter her room without knocking. " Abhi" she called out and the man walked to her and gave her a warm hug .

" What am I going to do? I don't want this marriage Abhi" she confessed now weeping.  Abhijith, sighed not knowing what to do, he knew why she did not want to get married besides the obvious .

" We'll figure something out, we always do Zahi" he said smiling at her , she nodded as they sat down on her bed . " When is your audition?" he asked curiously , " within a week, I wanted to ask mother and father for permission but now..." She sighed unable to finish her sentence .

She bit her lip in frustration until she looked at her elder twin brother, the same long hair as her , the same slender model like figure, the same big brown eyes . He looked just like her, an idea popped into her mind and she took a deep breath before she spoke .

" Abhi" she called his name softly making the other look at her attentively, " you know how we look alike" she began, making Abhijith, to have a bad premonition .

"Yes?" He asked suspiciously, " so you can swap places with me " Abhijith, stood up really quickly at those words . " No" was his one word before he walked towards the bedroom door intending to leave .

" Please i beg of you, it will only be for two months and I'll be back to take my rightful place as that man's bride" Abhijith, still remained adamant which made Zahira, to use her trump card.

She began to weep as she spoke, " Abhi, you promised " Abhijith, froze knowing the promise she was referring to . " This is too much Zahi, how do you expect me to be some unknown man's bride on your behalf?"he asked softly turning to face her .

" It's only for two months please, you know unlike you I have no freedom, you're my only hope Abhi, help me " she begged almost dropping on her knees .

Abhijith, held her up and looked at her , he could not help but feel sympathy for his younger twin sister . She was correct on her notion, of her having no freedom, he knew how his parents behaved with her.

Which was the reason he had taken up some of her burdens since their childhood. He wished his parents were different, he wished they were more understanding, he wished they would let go of their conservative ways.

He smiled sadly at Zahira, " I'll do it " was his only reply before he left her room. He was in deep thought, all the way to his room.

There was another thing he knew about his younger twin sister, the girl had always wanted to find love on her own. She had always dreamt of a prince charming sweeping her off her feet. A hopeless romantic, such a pity nothing ever goes as one would wish.

He knew talking to his parents would not work, they had never been the type to listen to anyone. Their attitude was frustrating in more ways than one.

He wondered if he had done the right thing, accepting to be his sister's temporary replacement. He got to his room and sat on his bed, he calculated the odds of the whole situation going awry.

He sighed and took out his phone opting to watch a comedy movie, hoping it would help with distracting his wandering mind.
