Adjusting to taking over slowly after his father was not hard for Abhi in fact he used it as a destruction from everything else going on with him. He used all of his strength into getting the government land his father had his eye on, he knew many were competing for that land and he planned to beat them at the next auction held for it.

He looked at the paperwork on his work desk as he stared at his laptop just for his phone to ring making him freeze seeing his wallpaper he forgot to change it. How was he supposed to forget the man if he kept such simple reminders of him everywhere. He sighed hanging up, he knew who called and he was in no mood to entertain the man's nonsense.

Did he have to make it so hard? And why was he so hard to block? It was a bit insane. He went back to work only to be interrupted by his office door opening making him look up and his breath hitched "what are you doing here?" He asked his tone cold. "My feelings Beautiful. why are you so mean?" The man spoke deep voice making Abhi gulp in but he held in his feelings surely he had more self control than that.

So what if the man before him was devilishly handsome and had an aura that had him hypnotized? He was still not going to be pulled into sin. "Your feelings are non of my business brother in law, now what business do you have with me?" He asked keeping his voice calm and steady. "Nothing just wanted to visit can't I visit Beautiful?" Abhi glared at him "leave my office or I'll call security" he threatened.

"Oh my how frightening Beautiful, is that a way to treat your new partner? You know I thought since the Devis are my in laws why can't I help out with something, you know to increase our bond" his tone was teasing yet Abhi's eyes widened "what do you mean help? I don't need help I can do the project myself stay out of my way or so help me..." He stopped as the man stared at him mischievously.

"So heated I love it but still I'm already in the project and what will you do Beautiful?" An object came flying at him at those words making him catch it with one hand "using your powers against me is unfair Beautiful, I'm just trying to increase our... relationship, we're family after all".

Abhi scoffed folding his arms "you better stay out of my way Mr Patel you have a wife go play with her" the man walked to Abhi who stared at him silently "my wife?" He asked caressing Abhi's cheek softly his dark eyes somewhat fond, Abhi had his eyes closed getting lost feeling the warmth spread straight to his heart.

He knew he was too weak for the man but the man confused him with his behaviour. "My wife likes to run away from me but I don't mind I love the chase after all" Abhi's eyes shot open at that staring straight at the man's eyes. He saw determination that made him move his chair back leaving the man to take back his hand "please leave I have work to do" his voice a bit shaky almost begging.

With one last deep look the man walked away, Abhi held his fast beating heart "Damn it Aayush Patel leave me alone I'm trying to forget you, why are you making it so hard" he was genuinely concerned about his health the man was not good for his heart. Why did he have to always shove his presence in his space? Shaking his heart and threatening to melt his resolve?.

His sister's sad eyes blinded his vision for a moment and a striking pain hit his heart making him gasp, his vision clouded as he saw his sister with a man and this time he could see him clear as day. His eyes clouded with fear "oh no Zahira what did you do?" He could not help but utter those words like a chant. He wanted to leave his chair, he wanted to run to his sister but he was stuck and he understood why, she was letting him see, making him feel.

He closed his eyes trying to shake the vision away but nothing worked he still saw the two "Zahira please " he all but begged confused, he did not understand clearly she promised. They were twins, they never broke promises to each other, he never broke his so why was she breaking hers. He saw the look in that man's eyes, he was lying to her, he was tying her to a web, one she'd find so hard to escape.

It was never easy to escape a web of love he should know, after all for the very first time in his life, he was in love.
