Abhi looked at his younger sister who was finally resting peacefully and stroked her hair gently "I will always protect you big brother did promise after all" he smiled sadly as he wiped something coming from his nose. He saw the red and looked out the window he did not care much to be honest that he was losing his life force slowly.
"If you die just know no one will survive this game you're playing Abhijith" he turned at that and as he thought those deep dark eyes were staring right at him, he was surprised the man called him by his name as well. The man called him everything but his name "this is non of your business please stay out of my way I know what I'm doing".
"Yes you're busy dying, why are you so self sacrificing? She is a grown woman and can make her own choices" he sounded upset but his voice was still calm "she is all I have and I have promised to protect her and will with all I have even my very own life" the man looked at him silently. "You don't have to die for that when will you understand it's okay to let her feel her own pain? She is just as strong as you she can take her own pain".
Abhi looked down a bit dejected "you will never understand we are connected I feel her pain no matter what and just feeling it and knowing it hurts I can't leave her to bear it" the man's eyes softened, he walked closer to Abhi who was still sitting on the bed. He gently lifted the pretty male's chin so they'd be eye level "I do understand but I also want you to trust in her a bit more, she is strong just watch her grow, free both of you no bond should end in death".
Abhi was confused the man was asking too much of him, he had always taken it upon himself to be Zahira's protector to give her that security he knew their parents could not provide. He always wanted to let her know she was not alone and that she had him and he was willing to go to the ends of the earth for her.
"Sometimes you must let a bird fly free and see just how high it soars you'll be surprised, loosen the reigns a bit, let her show you her strength Beautiful" Abhi got lost in the man's eyes, in his words, maybe the man was correct just maybe worrying a little less would help Zahi stand for herself.
He blinked at the man and nodded "I'll think about it, I have to g..." He did not get to finish those words as soft lips claimed his making him freeze. He looked at the man and closed his eyes, he resisted moving his lips as he knew that would just make his fight futile. He knew even without the other being his sister's husband, he still could not have him.
They were both man, who would accept that? Certainly not their families and he never wished to cause Aayush pain, he loved the man too much for that. He placed his hands between them pushing Aayush away a bit "how long will you keep this up?" Aayush asked him "for as long as I can besides don't you have a wife? It seems you keep forgetting" the man chuckled "yes I do but my wife is quite troublesome, refuses to call me by the name I like".
Abhi felt his heart thumb almost out of his chest "don't you like your own name?" He asked still looking at the man who just played with Abhi's long hair "not from my wife... Others can call me whatever" he was sincere making Abhi break eye contact "I need to go I'm sorry" with that he vanished. "For how long will run from me Dandelion" he sighed and looked at the woman who was sleeping peacefully.
"I hope he lets you grow Zahira" with that he walked away he needed to go and do some work just to get his mind off a certain beautiful male who would not give him the time of day. "Son where are you going? Your father wants to see you" he stopped in his tracks hearing his mother's voice. "Mother" he called the woman who nodded at him.
He did not know what to say to her as they had not been on best terms fighting over his whole wife situation. "You truly won't leave her?" She asked softly "it is my wife I won't leave, mother I'll go and see father now" she nodded though she was confused by his words.
"Welcome son let's talk" his father said as soon as he entered the man's home study "so I want to introduce you to someone tomorrow they will be a very important part of your life" Aayush furrowed his eyebrows at those words.
