Cold eyes opened and looked around, the white walls around him made his eyes colder, he wanted to sit up but found his body seemed to weigh a ton.

He sighed and gave up, "oh Mr Patel you're awake" a kind looking nurse said, she smiled at him, "I'll get the doctor in here quickly" Aayush nodded and she left the room.

Moments later a man wearing a white coat walked into the room, "evening Mr Patel, I'm glad you're awake now the healing process can begin" Aayush just stared at the doctor.

"You'll stay here for awhile, you sustained a head injury and a fracture on your left arm, almost broke a rib but luckily it's just bruised so you'll be fine" the doctor kept talking but Aayush was not paying attention.

After the doctor finished he was informed that the patient's family had come to visit, he nodded at the nurse then walked out.

The Patel family entered one by one until it was just the grandma, mother and father. Aayush looked at the elders of his family, who were very worried about him, "I'm alright" he said reassuring them.

"You almost died, I told you to leave that witch of a girl" his mother said making him frown, "my wife is not at fault" he defended his wife, this made his mother even more upset.

"It is her fault, she's a dark cloud in your life, nothing good could possibly come from being with her" grandma looked at the scene before her with silence.

"Your mother is correct that woman is a curse son, listen to your parents" this made Aayush upset yet he did not say a word he simply turned his head away.

He knew he could not convince his parents of anything regarding his wife, anyway it was not their decision to make, if his wife was bad for him, then so be it.

If his wife would drive him mad then he'll gladly be mental, that was his choice, and his alone. Seeing the determination written so clearly on her grandson's face grandma smiled.

She was proud of him, because only he can be the master of his own destiny. "Son listen just leave the woman you have nothing to lose, you heard the man when he read your palms" his father tried to convince him.

"He said you both are fire and water not compatible at all" his mother added with a sweet smile. Aayush turned at those words, "I have everything to lose if I lose my wife, I stand to lose the love of my life" he began then turned to his parents.

"There's no question to our compatibility, my wife is the water that extinguishes my fire, while I'm the fire that heats up my wife's water, what more compatibility do you need" he said stunning his parents.

"That is not how this works" his mother said trying her best not to lose it with her son. "Anyway Mila, is here to take care of you so treat her with respect".

With that the three left the room with grandma smiling at Aayush once more, the room soon opened again and Mila, entered.

Aayush did not spare her a glance, "I brought you some food, I made them myself you'll like it" she said softly, a frown soon decorated her face, she did not like the fact that the man was ignoring her.

She walked up to him then pretended to slip which ended with her on top of him, Aayush winced a bit as the woman fell on his bruised rib. His eyes became cold as he stared at her, then suddenly something called to him, he looked up.

The feeling vanished as quickly as it came but he had the urge to follow it, but was stopped by the woman on his lap. "Get off me, touching you with my hands would dirty me" Mila was stunned by the man's rude words.

She did as told though upset, Aayush felt uncomfortable where the woman had touched him, a cold feeling seemed to run through his body, he did not understand it.

The hospital room was clearly heated, then why did he suddenly feel like he fell into a glacier? He looked up the woman again. "Get out" it was an order leaving no room for argument, Mila gritted her teeth and walked out of the room upset.

Abhi walked out of the hospital making sure no one saw him, he had snuck in after all, he could not help it, his heart called to the man, he wanted to know if he was alright.

He knew the man almost caught sight of him, which caused him to run out, he frowned at the sight he saw when he looked through the door's glass part.

He hated how the woman threw herself at his husband, no not his, this thought made his heart ache. Why did he meet the man under such conditions? If they had met normally could he have the honor to call the man his?.

Those questions plagued his mind as he drove off going back to the cottage.
