Prologue: The Divine War

Long ago, three factions had heavy control over not just normal life but over the planet itself. These three factions were different in many ways from ideologies, behaviour, strengths and weaknesses etc. but they all had one key thing in common. Their own hatred for one another. These three factions were 'The Holy Angels' who followed the teachings of God. 'The Fallen Angels' who created their own hierarchy after their own caused fall from God. And 'The Devils' who bring pain and suffering upon those who sinned or did harm on the innocent. These factions all despised the others for the ways they operated and lived as bitter rivalry turned to hate they began to lash out at one another. As actions became more serious soon a Great War raged over the planet as the three great powers fought to conquer and kill off the others. Many lives were in turn lost through war as they depleted there numbers over the thousands of years they fought. But as the war raged on the powers called upon the creatures of earth to aid them. Many refused as they believed this fight was not their own. This belief was very popular among most the dragon species who stayed to their own lives. Although some, sick of conflict began to fight back giving aid to those who needed it most.

The Great Dragon of Destruction made a pact with The Great Devil King to aid his people in battle in order to end the chaos that ravaged his own home. With the dragons aid the devils, which had suffered the greatest casualties, began to push back and drive the angles back mainly setting their sights on the fallen angles as they were the main aggressors who kept the war in play.

Believing that the only way to weaken the great dragon, the fallen angels launches an attack on it's home destroying it's lands and murdering it's family. This sent the great dragon into a fit of rage at the sight of his brothers and sister deaths as they're bodies lay across his decimated home. As his rage grew he began to lose control and began to tear through the ranks of both fallen and holy angels killing over 20% of the fallen angel population and 11% of the holy angel population. His rage caused more casualties in the following decades than the three factions in their first millennia of war. As time went by more of his kind lashed out in war and acts of violence and so the holy angels in particular began the extermination of the dragon species.

Two of the first great dragons to fall were the infamous Welsh Dragon and the Vanishing Dragon. Two brothers who began battle among themselves were destroyed and their souls sealed within objects of great power made by God called 'Sacred Gears' given to humans to help survive the fight and give aid to the holy angels.

Soon many dragons began to return to their own realm as their own ranks were soon massacred by the angels and soon devils. And as the war neared it's forced end the Great Dragon of Destruction soon fell to Gods power in battle using the last of his divine power to seal away the spirit of the beast within a sacred gear sacrificing his own life in the process. This was unknown and untold to all factions and one of the best kept secrets in history along side the death of The Great First Devil King who combined his power with God's to seal the beast away.

Soon the war ceased as three factions made a truce as their ranks were nearly depleted with a average survivors percentage of 17% of pure blooded devils and angels. The war ravaged the planet which would take time to recover was left to handle itself without the presence of the divine powers...
