Emma and Norman got to the hospital after spending some time at the park. Emma walked over to the receptionist when she couldn't see Ray's parents

"sorry excuse me, is there a Ray Grace checked in?"

"no miss there isn't"

"oh okay"

She walked over to Norman sighing when he raced out the door yet again and both made a run for their friend's house. Emma got there first knocking on the dole and ringing the bell seeing no one answering. She sighed

"they are going to kill me but im sneaking in"

"emma it's the first Saturday of the month right?"

"yea why?"

"Ray must be home alone since both his parents work on that one day"

"shitttttt"

She immediately climbed through the window and opened the door for Norman and the snowy haired boy raced to find Ray hearing faint coughing so raced towards it, tearing up when she saw Ray sat on the floor looking weak and covered in flowers. Barely able to breath Ray corded out a sentence through cough

"g..et... o...u...out"

"Ray please let us help.... You can't just let this happen"

"O...ut"

Norman sighed and turned on his heel before stopping and went back sitting by Ray.

"Look you might not want my help but at least let me sit with you so you aren't suffering alone"

Ray sighed and gave in. He stared down feeling an arm come around him.

"You can rest against me if you want"

Ray ignored Norman the first time so the white haired boy gently pulled ray and forced him to lie against him but made sure he was comfortable.

After a few minutes the room turned quiet so Norman turned to check on ray an audible noise escaping his mouth as he saw a flower blooming through the boy's neck and his eyes shutting.

"No! Ray! Ray please, come on breath. Wake up ray. Don't do this to us"

Emma finally entered the room and walked over, seeing the scene and so sat by Norman.

"Norman, I know it's hard to accept but he's gone. I'm sorry"'

Norman didn't respond just looked down at his friend that was in his arms and allowed himself to cry. Emma sat in silence with Norman holding him in comfort, showing that she was just upset as Norman was but stayed calm to be there to help despite the fact the boy she had grown up with all her life was lying lifeless in front of her.
