"Yeah, he's my ex" I admitted.

"So that's why you're awkward. Is he bothering you?" He asked carefully.

"No, not at all" I defended, "I'm just chill, you know? Just do whatever he wants and I will do what I want as well."

"Do you want me to fire him?" He asked again.

"No" Umiling ako.

"Fine. So why did you asked if he's here?" Takang tanong niya.

"Nothing... I just, uh... I-i wanted to know" I laughed awkwardly. My phone rang and it saves me from embarrassment, "Wait, I have a call. I got to go, thanks"

"Yes? Who's this?" I answered th phone call on the elevator.

The caller didn't respond so I assume that it was just a prank call or something.

But it saves me from getting embarrassed so hindi na ako nagalit at hinayaan ko nalang.

I worked all day dahil 'yon lang naman ang gagawin ko. Mag trabaho para mabuhay. God, tumatanda na talaga ako.

Nakaka-pressure naman, jusko!

I miss the kids I always took care in New York. Malapit na naman kami mag isang buwan dito and then two months nalang, makakabalik na ulit ako roon.

And for good. I want to live my peaceful life in New York.

Before sleeping, I watched a movie. Umiyak pa ako dahil pareho pala silang mamamatay sa huli. Ang dami nilang pinagdaanan bago pa nila makamot 'yong kalayaan nila tapos ganun pa ang nangyari.

Hay, expect the unexpected. Ganoon talaga.

"Good morning, ma'am" I smiled before greeting at the guard.

"Morning, kuya" I said.

"Ms. Nathaly! Good news!" Agad na lumapit sa akin si Anne. Hinintay niya pa akong makapasok sa office ko bago siya magsalita.

"Good news for a good morning. What is it?" I asked while sipping my coffee. I bought it earlier before going here.

"Uh... So Mr. Sanchez told me to announce it to you that Miss Emma got suspended on her work. It was Miss Emma's plan and did it alone without her boss knowing. She faked her identity, she's just the CEO's secretary." She exitedly announced.

I nodded, "So she got suspended? Not fired?"

"I didn't ask Mr. Sanchez about that, Ma'am." She scratched her nape but still smiled.

"It's okay. Thank you for the update. I hope she gets what she deserve" I said before opening my laptop, "Do I have a meeting today?" I changed the topic.
