On stage there was girl dressed like a dancer and some kind demon was watching her as they did their ballerina stretches. I will be whole I will be new the demon that was watching her said. That was Emily she had been onstage and then we get a backstage view of the other people practicing their acts. There was Lisa with her tuba and Marc with his magic act. And then there was Morgan and his dummy Sid. But I'm guessing we'll find out if Sid was really the dummy or it was the other way around and I'm guessing it was the later. It always is with these acts. I was sure somehow someway the dummy would come to life and ruin everyone else's acts. And then there was Cordelia practicing her singing Jack was trying to supportive but he had those singer earplugs so that he couldn't hear her off key singing.

I tried to keep my distance but she already didn't like her cousin so much a cousin as he is just himself. And she already didn't like me but Jack was still in some way or another family so she was stuck with him. But she'd want to keep the "freak" and all her friends away from the both of them. So I tried to be supportive from a distance supportive to him and the fact that his cousin was a terrible singer. Luckily I've been practicing magic. And can get inside people's heads when I need to. Just like I was able to with Buffy. Also he couldn't hear me if he was wearing those anyways. Guess who. I teased pretending like I was covering his eyes with my hands. He looked toward the back of the room. And I saw him grin as I waved my hand at him. JT: Hey. I heard him think back to me. MT: Helping your cousin? JT: Not so much "helping" as she's my cousin and I'm stuck with her and vice versa. MT: She's awful. JT: Why do you think I've got these in? He smiles back me.

And then I pull out my phone. M: I'm just gonna keep texting you when we're around Cordy if that's ok with you. J: Sounds good to me easier this way on me. M: I'm gonna sit back here and watch. Also Giles is back there watching as well. I sit in the row behind him. Hey I whisper to him. Mm. He grumbles. Thank you Cordelia that will be enough he says. He clearly didn't want to be here. He told her it was lovely then asked for the next act and to save everything else for dress rehearsal. Then Lisa came out with her tuba. And then Buffy and Willow and Xander come in and surround us. They tease Giles about being the producer of the talent show and how he was in charge. Giles said their principal made him so that he could interact and have more contact with the students but he tried to explain how as a librarian he chose that role to avoid such things. And if they had any decency you would have joined or helped. But they felt the talent show was stupid and they were going to watch so they can mock and laugh. But then our principal came to tell us that he noticed we were missing from our afternoon classes yesterday our response right away for some reason at least in Buffy's eyes was tell him we were fighting a demon.

He was astounded by that. I mean not fighting she corrected. Xander cut her off to say avoiding fighting. But he wasn't buying any of it and made them all participate in the talent show and was sure they could come up with acts that the rest of the students could mock and laugh at but they felt that was a terrible punishment and felt detention was better. But Snyder was having none of it. Actually I was already planning on participating I was gonna tell you too but then I heard what you thought of talent shows and decided against it but now you're all required to join. See I can tell the audience it's a science experiment but I can tell you guys that I made a potion that allows me to come back to life after 10 secs each time I die there's a 5 sec delay by the end of the magic trick as seen by everyone else they will all be amazed and wonder how I managed if I'm killed enough times the end result should be a total of like 25-30 secs. And if I'm killed multiple times throughout the day the end result should be 3 hours. 3 hours?! Buffy exclaimed. How often do you think you're gonna get killed between..... How long does this potion last? Xander asked. Each time I take it lasts 24 hours.

And do you plan on telling Angel? Willow asked me. Only if he asks. But he will get over it. Farrah my G-D please do something else. Giles begged me. You underestimate the fear and worry and sadness your friends and loved ones feel anytime you should reanimate so to speak especially your brother. Can't you do something normal like a singing multiple songs and making them into one? I can put you last and your talent can be you singing songs I'm sure you have a lovely voice it can't be worse than others. He fixed his glasses. And if it is terrible at least you'll be last and then you can compel everyone to forget what they heard. He cleared his throat. How long have you been singing? Jack asked me. I never said I could or that I did. Maybe we should just make sure Angel isn't in the audience. No matter what I do as my talent. Please Farrah promise me you will try to think of a different act other than proving you can come back to life by killing yourself. Buff looked me in the eyes hands on my shoulders. Oh I wasn't going to kill myself I was gonna have Jack do it. Excuse me s-say wh-what? He choked on his breathing.
