It was another glorious day at Sunnydale high school. It's spring now. How did it get to be spring so fast? I guess it makes sense each season is one year and there's only one episode left of the first season but I can't believe it's already spring. Cordelia is very happy about this as it's almost time for the spring fling dance and people will be voting on Thursday for May queen. A choice between Cordy or Harmony and leading man Mitch. And even though Jack doesn't want to he has to walk with them so that she can keep an eye on him and he won't hang out with us. As much as she thinks he's a freak too. But he's still part of her family or really the other way around as he was born a lot longer ago than she was but he plays his part.

Cordelia was excited for the spring colors and spring fashion. Mitch was saying something about spring training so he must be some kind of football player. Cordelia said her at the end of the year dance. Harmony was excited that it was the end of the school for the year coming up now that we've hit spring. Cordy said it was her favorite time of the year. They were nearing the library now. She was talking about the dress she was going to wear since off the rack gave her hives apparently as Jack rolls his eyes. Let me guess it's gonna be blue like your eyes Mitch asks? Her (my) eyes are hazel. Jack and Cordy say in sync. At least you pay attention enough to know that. She turns back to Jack. Cordy I have to spend a lot of my time with you whether I want to or not. He rolls his eyes again.

What's the matter with you? Did Farrah do this you? You weren't like this before you met her. She scolds. You didn't and don't want anything to do with me unless I am hanging out with Farrah. You don't want me hanging around either of you but you don't want me "corrupted" by her. You think I'm a freak too but because I'm family you claim me and I support you because you're my cousin and I love you but if I'm such a freak why can't you let me go and "play" with the other freaks? I have a reputation to uphold and my dorky cousin isn't gonna ruin it for me. Harmony felt that Cordelia and Mitch were gonna be great together even though she hadn't won yet or even for that matter been elected. And right then was when Buffy and I (outfit 45)run out of the library and slam into them spiraling out on the floor while everything in her backpack tumbled out including her slayer stuff. She tried to explain herself in front of the crowd even though no one cared as she started stuffing things back into her bag as I helped her but again no one cared they just thought she was a freak. Jack knelt down next to us to help us clean up her stuff while Cordy and her friends walked away laughing at us saying how she remembered when Buffy attacked her outside of the Bronze with a "spear" and couldn't look at a pencil the same way and now only used felt tip and Jack rolled his eyes again.

Hey you ok? He asked mostly me. Yeah thanks. He stood up first and then tried to help me but I tripped and sent us both flying with him on his back and me over him. You have got to be the clumsiest vampire I've ever met. Don't you get like heighted coordination or whatever when you turn? He teases me as he brushes my hair out of my face. I mean don't get me wrong I love that you're falling for me but I didn't mean you should fall on me. I roll my eyes and push myself up onto my knees and this time I stand up before helping him up. Let's go to English class or we're gonna be late. It just so happened that we were doing Shakespeare in English class as our teacher Ms. Miller read from the book. "If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? If you wrong us do we not seek revenge? And then she asked us to tell her what he was talking about in our own words. Jack and I and Willow and Cordy's hands shot up in the air. Jack and I happened to love Shakespeare and Willow is very smart but we were all disappointed when she called on Cordelia. Well let's just say there is no right or wrong way to interrupt Shakespeare but I'm gonna say in my personal opinion that she was dead wrong and believe me I know dead things.

But this is what she said. Tell me if you think she was in the wrong and way out of line. How did being a Jew relate to society's outcasts of today? What was it that Shylock was talking about? "Color me self involved" Was her answer. Our teacher asked her to continue. She felt that all Shylock had been doing whining. She felt that he felt that the world was just about him and his problems. That what he was doing to get his justice was in order words "yucky" as she put it. But has he suffered? She asked the class. What is his place in society? Willow tried to answer saying that everyone looked down on him but Cordy cut her off. She felt that was a weak defense and that he should get over himself. How cruel could she possibly be?! She felt that people that think their problems were huge "craze" her as she put it. Like when she nearly ran over a little girl on a bike that was Cordy's fault! Not the little girl but she felt that the little girl was whining and only cared about her problems making it all about her pain and her leg when Cordelia said it was the most traumatizing thing in her life. And that the girl was making it all about her pain but what about Cordelia's pain?! OMG she's being so selfish she doesn't care about anyone but herself. But our teacher felt she brought up a good point and that we would talk about them during the next class.
