Alex's POV
I hear my alarm go off next to my bed, I get up to see what mess we made last night. Matt is lying on the floor, Jamie on the settee and Nick no where to be seen. I hear the toilet being flushed and I see Nick walking out of the bathroom rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning" he says getting comfy on the counter stool.
"Morning what time did you all stop" I ask him cause I went to bed before all of these idiots.
"4 or 5 I'm not sure to be honest" we both laugh but get interrupted by Jamie's snoring.  I pour my self a cup of coffee to wake me up a bit.I pass the box of aspirin to Nick after I used it. When Matt and Jamie finally wake up I decided to get change, I grab my black jeans, plain white t-shirt and my brown leather jacket.  It's now 1pm and we haven't eaten today so I decided to go to this nice coffee place down the road apparently they do takeaway food. I leave the boys in my apartment, I get into my car starting the engine. The radio starts playing, some Fleetwood Mac comes on.
I sing along to the song until I pull up next to the Café. I get out of my car and walk into the building. I look around to see vinyls hanging on the walls, people doing their own business. I look at the menu and decide to get 4 bacon butties and 4 coffees.
"Can I get 4 bacon butties and 4 coffees please luv" I look up to the girl as she looks up at me "lighter girl".
"Excuse me" she says looking at me with a confused look.
"Last night?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Sorry I can't remember I was rough last night" she awkwardly laughs opening the till, I give her the money.
"No worries you were pretty stoned as well" we both laugh trying to get the awkwardness away.
"Can I get a name" she asks getting a black pen to write on the cups.
"Turner"
"Right Alex Turner your order is coming up"
"So you remember my name" I laugh looking at her.
"That's the only thing I remember" she walks away into the kitchen, I lean against the yellow brick walls fiddling with my watch.  I think of the things that happened last night, I felt a connection with her I don't know why. It felt like we've met before but obviously we haven't.
"Turner" I hear that voice again shout from the counter. She passes me the bag and the 4 cups of coffee on a stray.
"See ya soon Turner" she walks away to serve the next person. I push the door open and start to walk to my car. I get back in placing the food and drinks in the passenger seat. I start to drive still thinking of her but I know I'll never meet her again.
