Park Jimin is the crown prince of the Park Kingdom.

The castle he calls home is sat with its back in a large stretch of mountains and surrounded by forests on either side.

There is a waterfall that starts at a great height within the mountains and the subsequent river flows through the castle grounds and ends in a large lake around the base of the castle.

The base of the castle has been built into the rocks that start at the edge of the lake and the base of the mountain, so part of the castle is set over the water's edge and the castle has an arch built into its base to allow the arrival of boats and ships.

The rest of the castle is set atop this base and joins with turrets and a small village off to the side which is used by the castle's staff and army.

The land entrance for the castle is just as spectacular, with a large, gated archway leading to a stonework bridge with three archways. Each arch is sided with two turrets that each fly the flag of Jimin's family crest.

Under these archways the lake flows peacefully only disturbed by the boats that occasionally glide through the water.

At the opposite side of the castle is a small cottage and dock and Jimin has spent the start of most of his childhood morning watching the fisherman that lives there. He either sits at the end of the dock with his pole resting beside him or up to his mid-thigh in water digging around for something that Jimin never cared to find out about.

The forest stretches as far as the eye can see surrounding the lake and along the bottom of the mountain, the mountain that stretches so high that on clear days you can see their snow topped peaks and so long Jimin doesn't think they end anywhere close.

Jimin had especially enjoyed summers within the forest, the dappled sun warming his skin as he and his friends, Taehyung, and Hoseok, ran from tree to tree chasing and hiding from each other.

When they had run themselves ragged or if it were a particularly sweltering summer they would spend the day on the outskirts of the workers' village in the calmer parts of the waterfall, letting the water cool off their bodies. They would always end the day sleeping at Taehyung or Hoseok's. Jimin enjoyed being treated as a normal citizen that his friend's parents didn't add any airs or graces when Jimin was around. He was treated as their friend primarily.

Jimin's childhood ended abruptly when his mother died. He had to then help his father, King Yongjae, shoulder the responsibility of running a kingdom.

He doesn't mind, really, as he knew it would happen eventually, but he sometimes wishes he could just drop everything and go back to his carefree summers.

Every time he looks out over the kingdom, he feels the tug of the forest willing him to go back.

He is thankful though that he made such loyal friends and has managed to keep them by his side, even if it meant they had to give up their own childhood early.

Taehyung is his own personal butler and spends his time by Jimin's side. He caters to every wish and whim Jimin has even if he knows it's something the King would frown upon.

Tae is good at keeping secrets from the King, but around their friends Taehyung can't keep his mouth shut.

Hoseok is a knight now and so far, Jimin has managed to keep him from doing anything stupidly dangerous that would take Hoseok from Jimin's side. It's selfish, Jimin knows.

He is, primarily, Jimin's personal guard.

When Jimin has a fancy to go out and explore or visit one of his few explicit encounters, Hoseok keeps him safe.
