You, together with Pesu, entered the hotel you were staying at. You were greeted by your father, who immediately went to hug your brother. He must've missed him a lot that he almost hugged Pesu to death. You giggled softly when you saw him do that.

You proceeded to your unit without saying goodbye to your father, for he was still hugging Pesu. A part of you wished he would've hugged you also, but you shrugged the thought off. You didn't need to feel jealous of Pesu right now because you were happy he was back with you. Besides, you have always known that Pesu was your father's favorite, so it was not new to you that your father gave most of his attention to your brother. However, you cannot help but think how he didn't even notice your miserable appearance, or maybe he did, he just didn't care much about you. You cannot blame him, though, for you never showed to him you're weak, so he must've thought you could handle your wounds on your own.

Perhaps, that's what strong people like you always have to go through every day because nobody gives a damn about you, not when you're physically weak and most definitely not when you're deeply hurt inside. After all, they wouldn't notice the scars on your heart, for they are too occupied thinking about the next best way to use you, for you were, are, and always will be a tool to them that they needed to maximize during its lifetime. Finally, when you've reached your lifetime's worth of use, they will throw you away and abandon you for a new one.

Thankfully, your father never considered you a tool. He was just merely a stupid father who was showing his favoritism to his favorite pet and lack of knowledge of how human emotions work and humans in general. After all, he never really knew you were hurting inside, and you want it to stay that way because you wouldn't want to add to his worries if he even has one.

Before you went to sleep, you found yourself thinking about going back to training because you wanted to still be of use. You didn't want to be abandoned just because you lost your touch in combat or someone else was better than you. Fighting is your purpose, and you want to keep it that way. However, this time around, you want to fight not because someone told you or threatened you but because you chose to do so.

The rays of the sun made their way through your curtains and into your eyes, causing you to wake up from your sleep. Your body was hurting when you woke up. That's when it hit you that you didn't tend to your wounds last night, for you were too tired of the long day that you had yesterday.

You made your way to your bathroom and took a bath. After that, you placed bandages on your wounds and changed into your clothes.

You had your whole day planned. You were going to roam the streets of Edo and try to map it out. You wanted to learn the ins and outs of the city, partly because you didn't want to get lost once again, but mostly because it would be your battlefield for the rest of your stay here, which is still indefinite. That doesn't mean, though, that there would be battles, although that's very likely. You just simply wanted to know what places can be used as hiding spots, what places are good for ambushing opponents, and what places would be useful when there is a battle. Let's just say you want to prepare in advance for the things that are about to happen, not that you know any, but just in case something comes up.

Starting from your hotel, you have been putting drawings and notes of the places you've been to in your notebook. You have been doing this for quite some time now, and you're starting to get exhausted, for you haven't eaten anything yet aside from the food you ate inside the rocket on your way to Earth. The food was meant to make you full for a day, so you didn't feel the need to eat anything yesterday. However, today is not the same, for its effects have already worn off, and you are hungry now.

You made your way to the nearest restaurant, which happens to be a ramen shop. It has been a long time since you last had a taste of ramen, so you were very excited to eat at that place.
