"Nick Harris." they call he goes up and places his hand over the Erudite water then right before the blood drips he moves it over the dauntless coals. Within five seconds he is welcomed over by the dauntless born. He looks like he is happy and I am as well. Tobias would eat him alive if they have to fight during initiation. I think that nick will end up in the last initiate spot and become faction less.
After a few more names are called it is the end of the ceremony in a way I kind of hope that initiation ends really soon and that my ceremony comes extremely soon because the quicker it comes the faster I can be with Tobias. After this we start to walk home but I have my mom stand back and watch for Tobias and Nick even though I am not really watching for Nick. As I watch for Tobias I see Nick he was climbing the walls and all of the sudden I see him slip and fall. I run over to him. I make sure that he is okay. He fell from seventy foot up in the air. He landed on his face so it is all bloody I think that he snapped his neck during the fall. He is not corresponding even after the ambulance shows up and tries to keep him alive. When they get to the hospital I wait out in the waiting room it is white and plain. It takes about three hours for the procedure. When it was done it took him about another hour before he started to wake up. I was allowed into the room right after the procedure to keep an eye on him since the doctors had other patients to see. When he starts to wake I see his blue eyes and I am immediately sorry for what I wanted to happen.
It takes him a few minutes to realize where he is he does not have any memory of what happened. The doctor had said that he might not even remember me when he woke up. I think that she was right because he looks at me like I have three heads and are from an entirely different planet let alone his ex - girlfriend. I try to explain how he went into Dauntless and how he fell. I just leave out the part that I actually wanted him to get hurt just another way.
"Did I really go into Dauntless and Fall off a wall in the first ten minutes Of being an initiate." He says .
"Yes you did which was not a very good choice on your part." I said back.
After he falls asleep I start to walk back home it is sunny and bright out today I suppose that I should have walked home a little bit later in the day that way the sun was going down so that it would be cooler outside. But oh no I just had to wait until he fell asleep again I did not want to leave while he was awake.
Do i still have feelings for him?Instead of going straight home I head over to see Tobias I really need some one to talk right now since nick is obviously out of it. I start to think about it there is no way that I still have feelings for him I know who I love and that is Tobias. It is obvious. Tobias answers the door and offers me to come in. Of course I do. He offers me a drink and I accept it. We start talking about what is in the near future for us since my choosing ceremony is in two weeks. I tell him that i will choose the same faction that he is in so that we could be together for ever just like we promised each other.
