chpt 2: day at the arcade

Anne's pov

I scoffed as I stared into the eye of my enemy "what do you want Maggie?" I asked annoyed.

"Oh nothing just... Your lunch" she replied with a evil grin on her face, I rolled my eyes "and what makes you think I would give it to you maggie?" "Well you don't really have a choice" she threatened.

'𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘴𝘰 𝘚𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶'

I thought as I narrowed my eyes and replied "you don't scare me Maggie " I shoved her away from me but didn't run like I wanted to.

Her eyes narrowed "oh your gonna regret that boobchouy" she said as she  cracked her knuckles and walked towards me.

She swung her fist at me but I quickly dodged '𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴" I thought to myself as I kept dodging soon enough I was away from the locker and had a clear shot to run.

So I took that shot and ran, Maggie running behind me chasing me all the way to the cafeteria were I walk through the doors quickly getting the attention of most people.

And among those people was Sasha she was even more curious when she say me enter, I walked slowly then Maggie came running after me and Sasha appears to have gotten the message as she stood up walking over to Maggie.

"Hey mags!" She spoke in her 'innocent' tone which was obviously not her innocent tone she was just trying to cover up her anger.

Maggie skidded to a halt at Sasha "o-oh hi S-Sasha" she spoke in a nervous tone, "why in such a hurry?" Sasha asked, "uh well I was just uhh" Maggie struggled to find a good excuse.

"You know what? Come with me mags I know how to help you come on" sash replied and she dragged Maggie out of the cafeteria.

I sighed of relief '𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺'

"Anne!" I turned my head to see marcy waving at me to come to sit next to her I smiled and walked over to sit next to her.

"Hey mar-mar" I smiled at her and she had the biggest grin on her face, "hey just a question what will be doing after school?" I asked as memories of my thoughts appeared.

"Oh well we will be going to the arcade, getting food maybe ice cream then I will take you somewhere special" she explained

"oo~ somewhere special? May I know where this special place is?" I smirked and she just shook her head "no Anne it's a surprise!"

I groaned and wined "oh come on pleaseeee" I begged "nope" she popped the p in that and continued to shake her head.

I groaned again "your meannn" I pouted she just chuckled, "Anne im not telling you where we are going it's a secret for a reason." She reminded me.

I sighed in defeat "finneee, but you must tell me where we are going as we are going there!" I examined she smiled even wider before chuckling again "that would just ruined the surprise!" She examined back.

"Plea-" "you should eat your food before lunch ends" she cut me off and I pouted again.

But I knew she was right besides I was hungry so I just ate my lunch as we continued to talk

It was the end of school and mars told me that she would be over at mine at 3:00 P.M so I rushed home to get ready.

It took a while but I just decided to go for my classic clothes.

(the clothes she wore the first season of amphibia)

I checked the time and it was now 2:49 P.M so I decided to wait in the living room on my phone.

When it was approximately 2:59 P.M I waited a bit more then the minute it turned 3:00 P.M I heard a knock on the door.

I opened it to see marcy wearing a hoodie, shorts, and a hat she was smiling clearly excited.

"Anne I'm so excited we are gonna have so much fun!" She examined her brown chocolate eyes shining, I chuckled and replied "heck yeah we are!" I did small fist pumps then called out to my parents,

"Mom, Dad I'm going out with a friend I'll be back later! Goodbye!"

I called out they soon replied with "bye sweetie!" "Have fun!".

I walked out with marcy and we both had big grins on her face but hers was even wider and bigger then mine, " come on Anne let's go!" She said as she grabbed my hand and began to lead me to the arcade.

"I can walk myself you know?" I chuckled she froze and then stopped dragging me "sorry, just supper excited" she rubbed the back of her neck nervously.

"It's no big deal, your not the only one who is excited I'm pumped about hang out at the arcade now let's go!" I spoke with enthusiasm making her also excited and more enthusiastic then before.

We soon made our way to the arcade we walked over to the (idk what it's called) thing where we get tokens and got tons of tokens, after that we looked around to see what to do first.

Well more like Marcy was looking I was admiring her she looked so cute with her eye's shining at whatever game was there.

Soon enough her eyes grew brighter and she dragged me to a shooting game "let's play this" she told me I nodded, we put our tokens in and began to play.

She was very good at this game mainly because she loves video games in general.

Soon enough she beat me in the game and had a way higher score I was a bit disappointed because I lost, she noticed this and began to comfort me "hey Anne it's okay you tried" she comforted me. I smiled at her and she smiled warmly back.

Her eyes then scanned the room before they lit up again and she dragged me to the next game we would play.

I laughed today was going to be one fun day.
