chpt 3: gay butterflies

Pov: Anne's

Marcy dragged me to the next game and we began to play this is how it would go.

Marcy would drag me to the next game then we would play the game. Marcy would win. Then she would comfort me if I was disappointed and move on to the next game.

This was the loop for about 3 hours or more then we decided to go get ice cream.

We walked into the ice cream shop and walked over to the counter.

"Hi" said the worker she was a tall girl who had short brown hair, yellow and blue eyes, and cat- ears? I wasn't even gonna question it.

"Hello" I replied to them

"What would you like to order? Or are you just here to waist my time" she sounded irritated "uhhh" "cat I told you not to be rude to them" then there came another girl even taller she had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was also a worker here.

"Well I'm just saying! 99% of the time people just waste our time!" "That doesn't mean you be rude to everyone that walks through!"

Let's just say they got into a funny argument.

After waiting for about a few minutes they finally stop arguing. The blonde one looks over at us, "sorry about that, I'm just trying to teach cat here to be nicer to people who come in" she nervously rubs her neck.

"Anyway what can I get you two?" She asked

"can I get chocolate ice cream? What do you want mar-mar?" I asked her, she didn't even have to think "mint chocolate chip please!" She grinned widely "okay that will be right out" the girl then walked to get the ice cream.

Me and Marcy walked over to a table and sat down. While we waited we talked and laughed.

Soon enough our ice cream came and we ate it. We talked some more and then a memory popped up in my head "oh yeah mar-mar before I forget could you now please tell me where we are going?" I beg her and she just shakeds her head.

"No sorry Anna-banna but I told you it's a surprise" I gave her puppy eyes and begged some more but she continued to say no so I just gave up

"Fine I'll wait" I crossed my arms and pouted "stop pouting it's a surprise and that's that." She noticed my pouting.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

After we finished our ice cream we headed out. "Alright Anne it's almost time for... " she zones out looking at something I follow her gaze to see a green butterfly. It lands on a blue flower.

Marcy appears to be mesmerized by it as she completely zoned everything put and began to slowly walk towards it.

I followed beside her as I noticed a blue butterfly fly next to it. Both of us just stood there watching the butterflies.

Then the butterflies flew away and made us loose our focus and we realized how close we were.

I flushed red and immediately moved away looking away from her I cleared my throat, "uhh that was a very pretty butterfly...." I was so nervous did she know how red I was? Oh god please don't notice.

"Y-yeah" she stuttered '𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?' I thought '𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺'.

"Well uh we should probably get going" I murmured then her head shot up "wait but I haven't showed you where we are going yet!" She examined as if she really didn't want me to leave.

I remembered that she wanted to show me some where "oh right I almost forgot haha..." I rubbed my neck of embarrassment.

"Well are you going to show me it?" I asked trying to lighten the awkward mood.

Her eyes lit up as she grabbed my hand and began to drag me through home.

As she was dragging me I was admiring her.

Her green eyes sparkled in the moonlight while her hair flowed with the wind. She had the brightest grin on her face I got lost in her details.

After I finally snapped back to reality I noticed we were in a forest running through the trees. Well trying to marcy kept tripping but yeah we managed to continue.

I looked around at all the trees then back to Admiring marcy.

I honestly had no idea where we were going or where we were.

'𝘐𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?' I thought silently but then pushed away that thought '𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘵'.

Soon enough we reached our destination, at least I think it is because marcy stopped.

"Here it is" she smiled happily I looked to where she was looking at and my mouth fell agap.

In front of us was a beautiful lake shining in the moonlight we were in a non shaded area with the trees behind us while there were blue flowers on the ground that looked like they were glowing I noticed some blue and green butterflies on one of them. '𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦' I thought.

I went back to admiring the view marcy had us sit on a log that had some moss on it everything looked like it was glowing from the moonlight.

"This place is....." "Beautiful?" She finished my sentence I looked at her and smiled warmly at her "yeah... Beautiful" I looked at the moon and noticed she was staring at me but I just kept staring at the moon.

We sat in comfortable silence until I felt pressure on my shoulder and noticed that marcy had rested her head on my shoulder.

I smiled warmly again.

Then I put my head on hers and looked at the view alone with marcy and my thoughts.

It was perfect I love this view and how peaceful it is here.

I slowly felt my eyelids get heavy and soon enough I fell asleep.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter I wanted to make it a fluff full chapter no angst whatsoever.

Well at least to get you prepared for the upcoming angst....
