I woke up and smiled. I immediately texted Jughead.

Betts: Hi! Happy Valentines Day!"

Juggie: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY MY LOVE!

After I texted Juggie I went downstairs and found Chic eating the whole try of lasagna. I scoffed and threw my hands up. He looked at me with wide eyes and his cheeks full. He opened his mouth and it plopped down in the tray and he shoved the tray off the table.

"Hey sis, what's up?"

"Chic! That was for dinner tonight!"

"I don't know who ate it! It was a stranger!" He exclaimed. He picked up the tray up that had the saliva covered food. He picked up the fork and a piece of the food on it.

"Chic...don't you dare put that back in your mouth." I said grinding my teeth. He slowly put it in his mouth and ate the chewed up lasagna. I gagged and took the tray away. Chic then tackled me and started trying to get the food back.

"Chic, get off of me!"

"Give me my food you...ponytail freak!" He grunted. I gasped and slapped him. He gasped and started pulling my hair. I then took the lasagna and threw it on his sweater. He gasped and threw some on me too. Then Jughead came downstairs.

"Woah...what-...I don't even wanna know." He sighed. He grabbed a bowl, cereal, and milk and sat down quietly. Chic and I glared at each other. Chic and I went to change our clothes and I got downstairs before Chic did. Jughead pulled out a red rose from under his jacket. He handed it to me and I smiled.

"What are we gonna do tonight?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and placed my hand on his cheek. He smiled and I smiled.

"We can...go to Pops." I suggested putting my arms around his neck. He shook his head and looked me in the eyes.

"Then what do you want to do?" I asked shrugging my shoulders.

"I want to take you on a date out of town. There's this huge movie theater for couples and they are playing our favorite movie tonight." He smiled. I gasped and smiled.

"Rebel Without A Cause!" We exclaimed at the same time. I grabbed his face and kissed him. I turned around and saw Chic coming downstairs.

"Are we going to school or not?" Chic asked. We walked outside together and Chic stood between Jug and I. It was kind of weird.

"Hey Jughead?" Chic asked.

"Yeah?"

"Why do you keep rubbing my butt?" Chic glared. Jughead quickly removed his hand and put it in his pocket. We arrived at school and Chic looked sad.

"What's wrong dude?" Jughead asked.

"Evelyn has a new boyfriend. His name is Ben. Valerie and I didn't really click. I'm spending Valentines Day alone." He sighed. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"You'll find someone, Chic. Maybe just not right now." I said. He rolled his eyes and stormed off to class. Jughead and I went off to science class. We sat next to each other.

"I don't think we should go on our date tonight." I whispered.

"Why?"

"I just feel bad about the fact that Chic is spending Valentines Day alone. Then we're off canoodling while he's sulking."

"Being single has never bothered him before unless...Oh! Evelyn was Chic's first girlfriend. That's a little...Sad."

"Well, who was your first girlfriend?" I said crossing my arms.

"It was a long time ago, Betts. Her name was Sabrina Spellman but she dumped me for a boy named Harvey. We were like 14, and it doesn't mean anything." He rolled his eyes. I wasn't mad at all. He doesn't love her anymore, it's been 4 years.

"You're my 1st love and hopefully my last." I smiled. He smiled too.

"Betts, 10 years from now. Where are you?"

"Easy, with you."

"Boring!" He teased.

"Ok, we're...both journalists. Possibly married." I smiled holding out my hand. He smiled.

"What else?"

"We have...2 children. A boy and a girl and we live in a small suburban home here in Riverdale. What about you?"

"I like all of those things too. But we've only been together for 5 months. Don't get ahead of yourself." He smiled. I playfully hit his shoulder.

"I got you something else." He smiled as he pulled a box of chocolates out of his backpack. I smiled and handed him a jar of small papers inside.

"What's this?"

"A memory jar. All the bad and good times we've had." I smiled. We both smiled and it was a good day. (Except for Chic.)
