New Years

It was almost 2019. Veronica invited many people to party she was having. She invited:

Jughead and I went over to help Veronica make food and put out decorations. Since she knows about our relationship, we could be a couple in front of her. 

"Hey babe, can you hand me the tape?" He asked. "

"Aw! Omg, you guys are the cutest! Team Jetty!" She smiled. Kevin burst through the door with Moose and put his pointer finger in her face. 

"It's team Bughead! We've been over this!" He yelled. Jug and I laughed and we continued decorating. After 10 minutes, we all saw Jughead eating the chips out of the bowl. 

"Jughead, no!" Veronica yelled. 

"Jughead, yes!" He smiled. 

"Jughead, no!" Kevin yelled. 

"Jughead, yes!" He laughed. 

"Jughead, no!" I yelled. 

"Jughead, no!" He yelled with a straight face. Everyone gave him a dirty look, except me. I held his hand and kissed his cheek. 

"I'm going to go out and get wine, and probably some more chips too." She giggled. We all finished up decorating and Veronica came back just in time for the party. The guests then began to arrive. It was a fun party. Everyone danced, talked, sang, and drank. It was a good time and everyone was happy. I poured myself some wine and Jughead pulled me to the side. 

"We're not gonna relive this whole 'me carrying you out' scene. Are we?" He asked. 

"No! It's just a glass this time. I promise!" I smiled. He smiled and nodded. I went to the chip bowl and Veronica took a huge handful and stuff them all in her mouth. 

"Jeez V!" 

"Hans ish llissing wi a huhe!" 

"What?!" I asked. She gulped. 

"Fangs is kissing some dude! I didn't know he was bisexua! I'm so done with boys! Unless I can find one like Jughead." She sighed. I scanned the room and found Sweetpea leaning against the wall. 

"What about sweetpea?" 

"Fang's best friend! Yeah, no thanks!" She scoffed. 

"He's really nice, V. He has a mean side but he's loyal." I smiled she nodded and began to talk to him. After 20 minutes, Veronica stood on the table and started to announce something. 

"The ball drop is in 2 minutes! You all must find someone to kiss!" She laughed. Everyone was looking around and Jug and I were partners. 

"Really man! My sister!" Chic yelled. 

"Would you rather have me or Archie kiss her?!" Jughead yelled. 

"Yeah, fair point." Chic nodded. He went off to find Evelyn. We all began to count down until the happy new year part. When everyone screamed it, we all then kissed our partners. Jughead and I kissed passionately and I hugged him. 

"Happy New Year, Juliet." He whispered. 

"Happy New Year, Romeo." I whispered back. 

For the rest of the night, it was safe. It was peaceful. It was happy.
