Chapter 15- Settling In

-The Next Day, November 5, 2008-

'The house was perfect. The cabinets were stocked, the fridge everything was great, Sam even started cooking lunch, It was 12:20pm and I was starving.' Danny thought as he smiled.

He couldn't wait for lunch, It was too good, life's been settling down, pretty well, they felt more organized but were nowhere near settled.

yeah, he saw the house when it was completely empty but, He figured there was still empty rooms, he thought some of the rooms would be for their future kids, oh well...

Danny sighs, 'I'll figure it out soon enough.' he thought as he continues starring at one of the empty rooms.

"Danny?" Sam asked in concern as she looked up at him after finishing up lunch.

"Sam?" Danny asked as he finally snapped out his thoughts as he looks at his wife in confusion.

Sam smiled at him. "Yeah, you okay you've been starring at the empty room's for a while Hun."

Danny gasped, "Oh, yeah I'm fine Sam, just thinking."he said calmly.

Sam came up to him and kissed his cheek. "It's gonna be okay we're nearly settled, we just need our driver's licenses and Jobs." she said as she took off her combat boots and purple socks, so she was just in her usual's without the socks and boots.

Danny glanced at the clock on the wall and sighed it was 12:30pm as he's lost in his thought's, 'I guess I'll never be normal, first thing to be half ghost, but now I'm vampire, life has gotten more complicated...'

"Let's eat before we fix up the house." Sam said as she carried the pot of food to table as she set it down before she sat down on the chair.

Danny smiled as he walked towards the table as he sat down next to his wife as they both started digging in.

after few minutes they heard a door bell ring as they both look at each other than back at the door as Sam gets up from her seat , she walks towards the door as she open it slowly, "hello?" she said in confusion.

"hello Sam, may I come in?" Carlisle said calmly in polite but yet firm tone as he smiled at her politely with calm expression.

"Oh!, of course Dr. Cullen." Sam said kindly as she moves aside to let him in as she smiles as she felt nervous.

Danny turned to look at Carlisle as he suddenly turned into Edward as soon as he saw him, "Carlisle." he said respectively as he got up from the chair as he walks over to his father's side.

"hello Edward, how are you adjusting to this new lifestyle?, sharing body with Danny and all?" Carlisle asked his son calmly in a concerned tone as he has calm expression.

"it's different for sure, but it seems to be a difficult situation but one I can manage, It's strange that I have to at least remember to eat, Since Danny still needs to." Edward said as he smirked in Carlisle's direction.

"I see, that's good." Carlisle began as he looks around the broke down house, "shall we fix up the place?" he said calmly in concerned tone as he has calm expression.

"That sounds like a very good plan." Edward said smoothly as he smirks at Carlisle.

"Where's the toolset?" Carlisle asked calmly as he raised an eyebrow with calm expression.

"In the hall." Edward explains as he smirks when he saw his brother Emmett entered inside the house as well.

Emmett looked around the area, "gonna need a whole demo." he began as he looks around completely flabbergasted. "I can't believe you bought this place." he said in disbelief.
