"Hyunmin, there's something I want to tell you," Soojin says to her friend. They were sitting on the grass in the backyard of Soojin's home."What is it?" He asks.
"A few days ago, uncle Taehyun was at the house in the early morning. Mom was still sleeping, but I woke up. I heard him and my dad arguing downstairs about my mom," She explains. "Do you think I should tell her?"
"Do you know what they said?"
"I couldn't hear what they said, but I did hear mom's name a lot. What if it's bad?" She asks.
"I don't think you should worry about it. They're probably talking about grown up stuff," He reassures Soojin. "I guess you're right."
But Soojin didn't want to leave it alone. She had a bad feeling. Which was weird, because she's only six.
"Look at that cloud! It looks like a butterfly," Hyunmin points up to the sky. "Oo," Soojin loved butterflies.
They laid down on their backs and watched the clouds go by, making up shapes out of each of them.
"Do you ever wonder about the future?" Soojin asks out of the blue. "What do you mean?" Hyunmin was puzzled. "Like, who you will marry one day, or if you'll have kids," She says.
He responds with, "Not really."
"Oh.""But I thought you and me can get married!" He states. "Huh? But what if you love someone? Don't you marry the person you love?" She asks with confusion.
"I don't know how it works," He giggles. "Well when I grow up, I'm going to marry a handsome prince that I love," She tells him.
"Come on in guys, Hyunmin, your mom is here to fetch you," Y/n comes outside and calls the kids in.
"See you soon Hyunmin!" Soojin says as him and his mom make their way to their car.
"I hope you find your prince Soojin!" He shouts. Both the mothers looked confused. They wave as Hyunmin and his mom drive away.Y/n picks up her daughter, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Did you have fun?" She asks.
"Yes! Hey mom, there's something I want to tell you."
