World of darkness : Book two : back from the dead

Part 30 : "we can die as many times as we want"

The nether bane had been around for a lot longer then kane or ciara and has fought many small wars against the nether and its evil kings but ten years before the events of the present story the piglins lead my captain tusk was ordered by the piglin king to burn some towns near the nether bane to the ground

Tusk with his hatred of both humanity and the nether of course would do this with out question and so he and his army headed to the overworld and set flame to many towns

But the nether bane didnt stand by and watch and they fought back and this wasn't like the smaller wars this was a full war against the piglins and the nether bane

This war cost many lifes on both sides but only two deaths mattered ,ones that would eventually bring the end of the piglins , tusk and the piglin king himself one day

And one man would save the one who would bring that end to the piglins

This is the story of when kane found the girl that would become his partner in the nether bane the nether bane assassin her self ciara

One day a small town was attacked by tusk himself and a small army of piglins at night , the piglins rushed into every home ad building they could ,steal anything worth of value , set flame to them and murder all people inside and that got in there way with out question

Ciaras parents were in this town and were rushing to escape with whatever they could grab

Her parents names were Eisa and john , the panicking and the screaming of the and killing outside had woken their ten year old daughter ciara

She was scared going down the stairs from her room hoping her parents knew what was happening

She made it down the stairs seeing her parents panicking and people running and screaming in the streets

Ciara " mom dad what's happening?" She asked scared seeing what's happening outside and how scared her parents were

John went up to his child and knelt in front of her and put his hands gently on her shoulders

John " my child we have to go ,go and grab whatever you can grab in this bag " he handed her an empty bag and stood back up

Ciara " dad are we gonna die ?" She was getting more scared and her dad hugged her

John " we will be fine as long as your fine ciara now go upstairs and get your stuff " she nodded and sprinted upstairs and got some of her stuff but she didn't want to leave this was her home but she had heard in  from her fear filled parents about towns being burned by the piglins

As she was grabbing what she could fit in her bag her parents were getting all they could as well but even if they had to leave everything their only goal was to keep their daughter safe and alive and they were willing to do anything to do it

Eisa " john we cant make it with all this stuff we should just run now and make sure ciara can still have a future " john had spear done his whole life in this house and it has been a part of his family he didnt want to leave it all behind as was trying to grab anything he could get his hands on before it would be nothing bust dust and ash

John "i want her to be safe to but im not leaving all my family's history behind " he put the last of bags by the door of the house and helped his wife get her ready

Eisa " she is ten it doesn't matter about this place is history we dont leave in time if we die so does your family's history " john as much as he didnt want to leave decided to leave the other stuff behind and only got what was needed
