Part 34 : times running out

( pov mara )

We had been running for almost a day now and Daryll finally got tired and so we decided to stop in a middle of a frozen forest not to far from a mountain ...unfortunately thats what we would have to climb since it will take to long to go around it

Daryll " ...it will be hard carrying you and the armour so what im thinking is i bring either you or the armour first then come back for the other thing thoughts ?" Well if it would be any faster i was willing to do it

" ok but what will go up first me or-" before i could finish he spoke

Daryll " you are more important then that armour to me so i will take you first thing tomorrow morning " well nice he was caring as ever although i feel i should go last but i wasnt gonna argue with the only man who can get me out of here

He started to make us a camp and set up a tent ..well a small one but its fine , he also made a fire and chopped down a tree to make a log for us to sit on by the fire

I wasn't good without most of my tech but its a good thing hes here .....not only for his skills...i just feel safer around him ..and i do love him ....

Daryll" hey mara !!. Want some water ?" I nodded and he sat next to me and handed me the water , i drank some of it and looked at the fire

Interesting fire is , just like my weapons may be pretty to look at but cause some much damage even if they create good ....even like me in a way , doing all i did for alfred brought me only pain and years of suffering and i was to scared to do anything about it or even stop it

" Daryll ....do you think ...im nothing be a problem ...i feel everything i do just leads to more destruction then i want to stop " he moved closer to me and i put my head on his lap on

Daryll " everything you did you tried to do the right thing any amount is enough and you have done far more then most . That's what i like about you mara you always try to find away through things ...one more thing though kyle send you had been acting awkward before the base was attacked" .........DID KYLE SPILL THE BEANS !!!

OH MAN OH MAN ...calm your self mara kyle wouldnt tell Daryll you like him right ?????....oh who am i kidding i dont know him that well he could have told him and this is Daryll letting me down easy that he doesnt want to date me !!. OH THE INJUSTICE !!!!!

Wait im lying on his lap ....ahhhhhhh that means im near SNAP OUT OF IT WOMEN !!!!! Ahhhh whats wrong with my brain

I lied there just trying to stop myself from saying anything about what im thinking out loud and just expose everything

" uhh huh uhh....what did he say exactly????...." I asked nervous ...god what did kyle say

Daryll " not much just said it looked like something was bothering you and maybe i should have a chat with you since he said we look like great friends and thats about it " oh well guess we are good then " but mara ...is there something wrong other then whats happened with Alfred " oh NOOOOO!!!!

I stayed still panicking about what I should do ....im just going back and forth in what im thinking ah for god sake GET YOU HEAD TOGETHER WOMEN

" look im fine ok ...." I dont think i sounded convincing but i was to worried and nervous to say whats bothering me or what i feel for him

Daryll " i dont believe that but if your not ready to tell i wont force you " i sat up as he stood up and put some more wood on the fire to keep it going

" ..so fo you think you can climb that thing with me like this " i looked at my leg which still was in a lot of pain and i could barely move it at all since i was shot in my thigh
