Chapter 41.

This ones gonna be shorter so it's kind of a filler but also somewhat important uh anyways enjoy!

"So are you coming to dinner sunday?" Kennedy asks sitting at the kitchen island. "Yeah I think so" I answer putting my mug in the sink. "Is jack coming?" She asks. I turn around "maybe" I answer. "Are you finally telling dad and benji?" She asks. "Telling them what?" I ask.

She gives me a look and I nod "yeah, they're gonna ask as soon as they see him anyways" I give in. "Good I can't keep it in anymore" she replies.

I wasn't feeling well this morning but jack had some meetings to go to so he went in and Kennedy came over when I told her I wasn't feeling good. "I know I'm good with telling them I hate hiding things from you guys" I respond. "Hows my niece doing?" She asks. I smile rubbing the now almost 20 week bump "she's good" I answer.

We sit on the couch for a bit just talking and she tells me what she's been up to lately and then she gasps. "You're half way there, have you got the nursery ready?" She asks. "Actually yeah, do you wanna see?" I ask. She nods excitedly and we go upstairs.

Before opening the door I turn to her "jack built everything after it came in and I chose the wall decals and the paint colour" I say. She nods "ok ok show me" she says. I laugh and open the door going inside where she follows and looks around. "Lilac I like it" she says.

"You've got a ton of clothes for her already" she says going into the closet. "Oh i know theres more coming too" i reply. "Seriously?" she asks. I nod "yeaaaah new balance is sending stuff and a few people I've worked with are sending stuff too" i answer. "People you've worked with? Like?" She asks. "Uh lizzo, megan, julia, lauren, gracie and tate" I answer. "Wow I still can't believe you've worked with them" she says.

Honestly same, its opened up so much more for me. "Who next? Taylor swift?" She asks jokingly. "Maybe" I shrug. She looks at me with raised eyebrows "youd tell me if you were right?" She asks. "Nope I'd keep it a secret" I answer.

A few seconds later I hear the front door open and shut "babe!? Where are you?" Jack shouts from downstairs. "Nursery!" I shout back. Seconds later I hear footsteps then see him "hi" he whispers looking at me.

I smile and pull him into a hug "hi" I whisper back. "I'm here too, hi jack" kennedy says. "Oh hi" he says noticing her. "I came to make sure she was ok and to see my niece" she tells him. "Ah ha and I see you've seen the nursery" he replies.

She nods looking around "yeah it's nice, good job" she says. "Thank you" we both say at the same time. We go downstairs and after saying bye and taking some muffins I made in a container she leaves. "You made muffins?" Jack asks. "Chocolate chip" I answer. "I love when you bake" he smiles kissing the side of my head.

Makes me think of the future, our baby girl enjoying a freshly made cookie with a cup of milk. Cute. "I'll do it more then" I reply. "You don't have to" he whispers.

"I know but I will be bored when we take a break so why not" I shrug eating a muffin. "I'm gonna gain so much weight" he says rubbing his own stomach. "Mmm then we'll just have to work out" I reply. "Actually work out or sex?" He asks. I giggle "both" I smirk.

He pulls me closer and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear "sounds good to me" he whispers. "I'll want to lose the baby weight anyways" I add. My legs and feet have swollen up a tad and my fingers have gained weight they look like sausages. "Abigail how many times do I need to tell you that you're beautiful no matter what?" He asks lifting my head up.

Wow he always says the perfect thing. "Probably a few more times" I answer jokingly. "Not funny" he whispers leaning down and connecting our lips. I smile against his lips and kiss back deepening it. He pulls away a few seconds later "I love you, ok?" He says. I nod "I love you too" I whisper.
