New Home (chapter 4)

Yawning as he woke up Wei Wuxian looked around to see where he was. Only to yelp in surprise as he found himself in between the two people he had been adopted by.

He had though up an idea of how to get rid of his memories from his past life, all he needs to do was get some paper and ink then he could create a talisman and place it on himself, he had done it once before so it wouldn't be that hard to replicate only afterwards would he be free.

The only down side to that was if anyone ever found it and took it off his past life may or may not be shown to the people he knew and the people of his last life.

That thought alone made a shiver run down his spine. The thought of all his loved ones knowing what happened, he felt it would only make things worse.

All of a sudden Hua Cheng opened his eyes. "Are you cold?" He asked, you could hear confusion seeping through his voice no mater how much he tried to hide it.

"Nope!"

Even though Wei Wuxian got a strange look from his A-diē he didn't say anything else.

Hua Cheng laid back down pulling a surprised Wei Ying along with him.

"Try and get more rest brat, you'll need it for when we start moving around for the day." Hua Cheng said with closed eyes, even if he didn't sleep it felt nice to close and relax his eye(s).

Even though Wei Wuxian didn't want to go to sleep he still closed his eyes, the only difference was that Hua Cheng stayed awake while Wei Ying ended up falling asleep after around 10 minutes.

Hua Cheng opened his eyes when he heard Wei Ying's breathing even out, shifting his weight onto his arm to look down at the child.

His beautiful lover turned onto his side and his arm wrapped around Wei Ying instinctively, it looked to be in a almost protective way.

All Hua Cheng did was smile lightly at his beloved and the child they had just adopted. Even if he wouldn't admit to it, he had already grown a soft spot for the brat. Almost as quickly as when he got attached to his beautiful husband.

Love at first sight, even if it took a bit longer to grow attached to the younger. Both of the loves being quite different but similar in the aspect of knowing he would willingly die again for them if he had too, no questions asked.

Getting lost in thought Hua Cheng frowned when he remembered what had happened when Wei Ying had woken up.

Even if the yelp the child had let out seemed to be of simply surprise and nothing more, Hua Cheng had been alive long enough to know that it wasn't just that.

It was a lot more then that, almost shocked. As if he had expected them to leave him or do something while he was sleeping. Hua Cheng's frown deepened at the thought of such a small child already having to worry about abandonment.

He sighed before laying back down wrapping his arm around Wei Ying and his beloved.

The next time Wei Ying woke up he was shaken awake by his baba.

"We have to go A-Ying, get up please." After hearing that they had to get moving Wei Ying got up groggily and was about to get ready to go when all of a sudden some fancy clothes were handed to him.

"From the looks of it, you should be able to fit in this." He looked up and saw his A-diē back in his teenager appearance. "I assume you should know how to put it on?" He asked getting a nod in response.

Wei Ying hesitated in grabbing it. "Are...are you sure I can have it!" He looked up, sparkles in his eyes. He was excited, he had never had something as fancy as this even when he was the head disciple in the Jiang clan.

"Yes, we are very sure. We don't want our son to be looked down upon or uncomfortable in any way." Hua Cheng said moving the clothes so that it was sitting in Wei Ying's hands before walking off with Xie Lian.

"We will be waiting outside the room for you, okay?" Xie Lian turned to look at Wei Ying from the door.

"Okay"

After they left Wei Ying looked down at the robes he was handed, they were black and gold with white in a few other places giving off a vibe of royalty. His eyes sparkled in excitement to to put on the new robe, he looked to his side to see a bathtub filled with warm water. He then remembered his parents filling it up, he guessed it was his so he undressed and got into the warm water.

He scrubbed his skin raw until he felt like all the dirt had gotten off of him before moving to wash his hair, doing the same process.

He only stoped after about a half hour, after he felt completely clean he finally got out.

He looked at himself in a mirror that was placed there after he slipped into his robes. Putting his hair up in a high ponytail before jumping up and down smiling happily about the fact that he found good people to be his parents in this life.

His smile faded slightly remembering his past but it rose again when he remembered that he actually had someone that cared for him in this life.

He walked out of the room and immediately saw his parents.

Wei Ying ran up to his parents in excitement.

"Baba!! A-diē!!!" He screamed happily.

Wei Ying ran up to them and jumped into Xie Lian's arms. Xie Lian not really expecting the sudden action stumbled a bit before his back his Hua Cheng's chest.

He looked up and made eye contact with Hua Cheng for a second before looking down with a blush of embarrassment and apologized in a hushed voice. "Sorry, San Lang, I didn't mean to run into you."

"It's okay, Gege." Hua Cheng smiled at Xie Lian and Wei Ying.

"Let's get going then?" Xie Lian asked changing the topic quickly. Hua Cheng nodded his head and looked down at their child in his beloveds arms.

"I would suggest you hold on tightly and close your eyes."

"Huh? Why-"

Before he could finish Hua Cheng pulled out and rolled his dice. After that they disappeared from the inn, and definitely not leaving behind a confused Inn Keeper that definitely did not pass out after seeing people disappear in front of his eyes.

Wei Ying's eyes sparkled when they ended up in a completely different place then they were just a couple seconds ago.

He looked up to the shrine then turned to his baba. "Is this where we live?" The excitement clear in his voice.

"It is, I know it's not much. I hope you don't mind." Xie Lian spoke as he looked down at his smiling child.

"What do you mean not much? It's perfect!" Wei Ying was jumping around like a baby bunny at this point, he was happy to have a home and good parents.

Hua Cheng smirked at the happiness shown the spoke in a soft voice "let's go in and take a look then?"

Wei Ying nodded his head quickly before running up to the door, super excited to see the inside of the shrine where he would be living with his parents from now on.
