A Week With The Jiangs Pt.1 (chapter 9)

I didn't think this was going to take as long as it did so I broke it into two parts.

"WHA?!"

"Yeah, I thought you already knew?" Wei Wuxian said.

"Well obviously not! Do you know how long my A-die has been looking for you?! He even ignored me and A-Jie to find you!" Jiang Cheng yelled, surprising Wei Wuxian.

"Ah...I'm sorry..." Wei Wuxian's head dropped as if he suddenly found the ground very interesting.

Jiang Cheng saw his reaction and paused before crossing his arms and turning his back to Wei Wuxian. "Whatever. It's not like you knew or anything."  Even through Jiang Cheng's harsh tone Wei Wuxian could still hear that Jiang Cheng was telling the truth and at least attempting to give him some sort of comfort.

Wei Wuxian smiled and jumped onto Jiang Cheng's back. "Awww! Look at how cute you are Jiang Cheng!" Wei Wuxian said, clearly trying to get a reaction out of Jiang Cheng.

"I- WEI WUXIAN!" Even without having a good look at Jiang Cheng's face Wei Wuxian could tell he was flustered. Even though Jiang Cheng's struggled to get Wei Wuxian off his back all Wei Wuxian did was wrap his arms around Jiang Cheng's neck and his legs around his waist making sure that he wouldn't fall no mater what.

After trying to throw Wei Wuxian off of him for so long Jiang Cheng got tired and eventually stopped. "W-why are you s-so strong-." Jiang Cheng said between gasps for air and he plopped down on the ground.

Wei Wuxian beamed, "Well I like to think my baba's strength rubbed off on me! He's super strong!" Even though Jiang Cheng couldn't see Wei Wuxian he could hear just how happy he was to talk about his baba.

"Wait- what do you mean?! I thought-!...Like, you know, I thought you parents passed away..." Jiang Cheng's voice got smaller as he realized how inconsiderate what he was saying could sound. Too Jiang Cheng's surprise though, Wei Wuxian giggled softly.

"It's fine. Even though I miss my original parents, I was adopted by an amazing couple who I quickly grew to love. My baba and a-die take good care of me and i'd even go as far to say that they might even be spoiling me a bit to much!" Wei Wuxian spoke but as he finished he wasn't able to stop from bursting out laughing from the face Jiang Cheng made.

"But-...you said baba and A-die... WAIT, ARE YOUR PARENTS BOTH MALE?!" Jiang Cheng's eyes widened in shock but Wei Wuxian's face dropped as he became quiet.

"Do you have a problem with them both being males? Jiang Cheng?" Jiang Cheng flinched as Wei Wuxian became serious, in the little time Jiang Cheng had spent with Wei Wuxian he had quickly understood that Wei Wuxian wasn't the type to be easily angered and was the kind of person to cause a lot of mischief and chaos, so seeing his get so serious all of a sudden easily caught him off guard.

"N-no, it just s-surprised me... I've never seen two men t-together before." Jiang Cheng cursed himself for stuttering, he was telling the truth but being under the harsh glare of the other boy made him feel very uncomfortable.

"Ohhh! Okay!" Wei Wuxian's whole entire face flipped, some how managing to scare Jiang Cheng more.

'How the hell does he change his emotions like that?!' Jiang Cheng sweatdropped as he attempted to get away from Wei Wuxian. Well that was until he was grabbed by the back of his collar and dragged in the direction of the inn.

"We are going back. You and your a-die need to apologize to each other and I'm pretty sure my Shushu and Shenshen are done eating. They'll get worried if they realize that I snuck away from the inn...I think they might even blow something up or maybe even worse than that..." Wei Wuxian whispered the last part to himself completely forgetting that Jiang Cheng was there and in hearing distance until he felt the other boy shiver before snapping his head around to look at him.
