Kuniko's POV:
I watched Valt walk into BC Sol, a nervous smile on his face. What's he done this time, cos it definitely not because he's late? I narrowed my eyes at him before deciding to just outright question him about it. He's just gonna be a nervous wreck until he blabbers out the truth, and that's just painful to watch for everyone.
"You're late; again." I started, and I got the same reaction as always - one of surprise before he slowly turned towards me, a scared look on his face, and I sighed. "What are you trying to hide?"
"Nothing." He quickly gained his composure and smiled. I forgot how good he was. This is gonna be a pain to get out of him.
"Free." I called, passing the problem onto him. I can't be bothered to deal with this tonight. I just wanna go to bed.
Free rolled out from underneath a bench, nerf gun in hand and stood up, pointing it at Valt, who cocked an eyebrow, looking the least bit threatened by his actions. I question this team so much. Especially since this has become the norm. "Hands up, now. I need to do a thorough check, and when that's done, I will be asking questions."
Valt rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed, but still decided to comply with Free's demands, deciding to get them over and done with. Free patted Valt down with a single hand, keeping the nerf gun in the other. Once done, he narrowed his eyes at Valt. Valt squirmed uncomfortably underneath Free's stare. Free turned his attention to Valt's mark, which earned a nervous gulp from Valt.
"I thought something looked different about you." Free wiped at Valt's mark, and it smudged. I am pleasantly surprised by this turn of events. Valt's eyes turned panicked as Free rubbed off the rest of Valt's 'mark', only to reveal a red version of it. Well, that's not something you see everyday. Forbidden lovers, huh? I read about them once while searching for stuff to help Daigo. He's lucky to have survived. Well, they don't call him the wonder boy for nothing, I guess.
"Lui?" I asked, already knowing the answer, but deciding to ask anyway. Valt nodded, a nervous look on his face, and I took his hand, pulling him towards Kris' office. We need a game plan; asap. Free silently followed us, a curious look in his eyes. He has no idea what's going on. Well, I guess I better keep him in the loop as well. He is the captain, after all.
I kicked opened the door to Kris' office, no longer knowing how to just open it normally, and she gave me annoyed look, but had given up on scolding me about it. Or she sensed it wasn't the right time to do so. Who knows? "What do you want, Kawahara?"
I pointed at his mark, and her eyes widened in shock. I looked at Valt, who looked uncomfortable with all the attention on him and his mark. I sighed. "We need to talk about this, Valt."
