8am
Cam woke up to the deafening sound of her phone ringing in her ears. She reached over and picked it up, seeing it was Emily. "Hi, Em"., "hey, Hotch called Reid and he wants you, me and Reid to go down to the pier. Another body had been found".

"Alright. ..."., she sighed., "...Just give me about 10 minutes and I'll be down"., "alright I'll see you soon"., Cam hung up the phone and with a loud sigh, she got up and headed into the bathroom to have a quick shower.

She decided on a simple outfit, a red short sleeved button up and some black trousers, leaving the first button undone. She fixed up her hair and put on her gun and grabbed her credentials, shoving them in her pocket.

Cam walked out of the elevator and saw Reid and Emily sitting down in the hotel lobby. "Morning. ..."., she smiled and waved, looking at Emily., "...Do you have the keys?"., "right here"., Reid held them up, getting up and passing them over.

"I'm driving. Let's go"., as Cam started to walk out of the hotel, Hotch walked out of the elevator with the rest of the team. He saw Cam walking out. Everyone noticed as Hotch's eyes lingered in her, watching her walk out of the hotel.

Hotch looked to the side and saw that he wasn't the only one with eyes on her. The hotel guy. Hotch stopped and looked at him while the others started walking to the car. The hotel guy felt eyes on him and he looked around seeing Hotch staring at him.

Thinking he wanted something, he walked over and smiled politely. "Is there something you need, sir?"., "yes, I need you to keep your eyes to yourself"., "excuse me?..."., he asked, confused., "...What are you talking about?"., "keep your eyes to yourself"., Hotch warned, getting the keys out of his pocket and heading to the car.

Cam pulled up to the pier and opened the glovebox, getting out a box of gloves. She got a pair for herself and passed them over. They met with the lead detective and started walking down the stairs, seeing a woman sitting on a bench. "The victim is Mary Newsome. Abducted two months ago. She was found on this bench the first thing this morning".

"Look at the style, it's the same. ..."., Emily said as she looked closely., "...Chiffon and look, it's sewn to fit"., "if the unsub has disposed this body, that means she's found a new victim"., Cam pointed out and Emily nodded, looking at the lead detective.

"Detective, can you go through missing persons reports that were filed over the last 24 hours?"., "I'm on it"., "thankyou"., "guys, look at this. ..."., Reid said as he got a pen out of his pocket, moving some of the hair back., "...These aren't extensions"., "maybe her hair was to brittle?"., Emily proposed and Reid furrowed his eyebrows.

"Maybe- this is a wig. Kanekalon, I think"., Cam bent down to look as well and scrunched up her nose. "The wig's sewn on-..."., Cam sucked air threw her teeth, a look of disgust written in her face., "...Guys, she sees them as dolls. It's time to deliver the profile".

They got back to the car and Reid's phone started to ring. "Yeah, Hotch?..."., Cam looked up in the review mirror briefly at the mention of his name before focusing back on the road. After about five minutes of 'mhms' and 'yeahs', Reid hung up the phone. "...We've got her next victim, her name is Bethany Wallace".

Cam stood at the front and cleared her throat. "The unsub that we're looking for is a woman. She is what we call a collector, a psychopathology similar to hoarding"., "so when we say a collector, we are not referring to stamps or baseball cards. ..."., Rossi spoke., "...It's not what any normal person would pursue as a normal hobby".

"This is an attachment to objects that has become obsessive. ..."., Hotch stated., "...It would be by someone who is antisocial and very introverted"., "these people attach apart of themselves to the collection. ..."., Emily cleared her throat.

"...If you were to try and seperate or take it away from them they will react with great anger". Reid cleared his throat., "she's suffered damage to their prefrontal cortex. Now she is still able to participate in everyday activities in fact she excels at goal oriented jobs".

"Like sewing. ..."., Morgan called out, crossing his arms., "...Or the details of an abduction"., "so what's she collecting?..."., the lead detective asked., "...Women?"., Cam cleared her throat and shook her head., "uh no. We believe she's collecting dolls- well actually replacing them. We believe that she lost them within the last three months. And that would be her stressor".

"She's searched for a replacement. ..."., Hotch stated., "...And when she couldn't find them she started abducting the closest possible surrogate. Women of different races but a similar body type"., "the drug induced paralysis is part of the fantasy. ..."., Morgan spoke., "...She puts her victims in a position when they can't talk back so she can fetishise them like the objects that she has lost".

The detective looked at the rest of the officers, looking back the entire team, not impressed. "Look, I respect your analysis but this women has kidnapped Six women, killing three of them and you's are saying that this is about dolls?".

Yes, you fucking imbecile.

Cam cleared her throat., "yes, we are. This woman stitched a wig onto the latest victims scalp. It's a technique that is used to attach hair to porcelain dolls. And what I would like you to keep in mind is that collectors and serial killers do share traits".

"But this unsub's intent isn't about being violent. ..."., Emily pointed out., "...She needs this collection to be complete so she can feel like she's in control of her own life. Most likely to overcome a trauma she experienced as a child.

She would only feel that control once that collection is complete, which explains why she is repeating the abduction pattern with her living victims. If she looses a woman who represents one of her dolls that she lost, she will have to replace it".

Hotch cleared his throat., "she works alone and we know she has medical training. Look for nurses aides or orderlies who have been fired for a lack of social graces. She cannot fake a bedside manner.

We believe that she's currently working as a seamstress or at any place where you may get your clothes altered and we are following those leads at the moment. Please let us know if you notice any overlap in your suspect pool. Thankyou".

The latest victim is a diabetic. Cam and Rossi just finished talking to a doctor about it and Rossi sent Cam to tell Hotch about it. She rushed into the conference room just as Hotch was coming out and her face came into direct contact with his chest.

She rubbed her nose and he cleared his throat., "uh..I'm sorry"., he muttered. She pursed her lips together and nodded, looking up at him., "no, it was my fault- uh I have some information for you"., Hotch nodded., "...okay. ..."., he muttered softly, turning around and going to sit down., "...Tell me".

"The diabetes could break down the drugs faster them the other victims"., "so she could regain control over her own body?"., Hotch asked and Cam nodded., "precisely. Every hour that she doesn't turn up-"., "we're still running out of time. ..."., Hotch cut her off., "...If the drugs doesn't kill Bethany the lack of insulin will".

"I know but we're doing everything we can. ..."., she looked up at the clock on the wall., "...Reid and Morgan should be back soon"., "I know, they're bringing back all the essays from entries of a doll designing contest back in the 80s. I want you to help them go through them". It's like he powered off, after he finished talking he looked down at the case file on the table, almost like he forgot she was there.

Cam pursed her lips together and nodded., "great, I'm back to being ignored"., she muttered, going out of the room. Hotch sighed and looked up at her as she left the room and shook his head., "I'm sorry, Cam"., he muttered softly.
