The Next Day
It was the weekend and Hotch was making breakfast for Jack before Jessica picked him up for the day. ''Here you go, buddy''., Hotch smiled at Jack as he placed a bowl of oatmeal and some orange juice in front of him.

''Aunt Jessica said she is taking you to the fair today''., ''yay!...''., Jack smiled., ''...Are you coming too, Daddy?''., Hotch frowned and shook his head., ''sorry buddy, I have to work. But make sure to have loads of fun and to take lots of pictures for me''., ''okay''.

Hotch walked into the conference room, seeing everyone sitting around the round table, upset that Cam wasn't apart of the team anymore. ''JJ, let's get started''., Hotch sighed out., ''alright. This is Doris Archer.

She's the third girl to go missing in Boise, Idaho this year. Along with-''., JJ stopped abruptly, looking at Garcia who walked into the room with tear stained cheeks. Everyone looked at her worried and Morgan stood up., ''babygirl? What's wrong?''.

''Cam's plane crashed''.

Hearing those words, everyone stood up and looked at her sad and shocked. ''I...I just saw on the news that there was...a mechanical failure on a flight that was going from Virginia to London. All 150 passengers are dead, including the pilot and co-pilot''., ''well maybe it wasn't her flight''., Emily said hopefully and Garcia shook her head, her lips quivering.

''I...I checked. It...it was the only flight going to London that day''., ''Cam's...Cam's gone?''., Reid said, his voice wavering and Garcia nodded, everyone embracing each other, starting to cry. Tears streamed down Hotch's cheeks and his lips quivered as he walked out of the conference room and into his office.

He had just lost the mother of his child, and now the girl he loved so much. Tears dripped onto his desk and paperwork as he went into his drawer, getting a photo of him and Cam. He held the photo to his chest and broke down on the ground, starting to sob, his heart shattering into pieces.

A Week Later
Today was the day of Cam's funeral and Hotch stood in front of his mirror, fixing up his tie, tears welling in his eyes. He really just wanted to talk to her and tell her that he loves her. He realised that he left the voicemail for her but he wasn't sure that she heard it.

Hotch heard a knock at the door and let out a sigh. He opened it, seeing Morgan and Reid. ''Hey, Hotch''., Morgan pursed his lips together and Reid did the same., ''the car is downstairs, are you ready to go?''., Reid asked and Hotch nodded.

They arrived at the cemetery and the others walked up to Hotch giving him a hug. Hotch looked around, seeing Ana and Julian with two men and two women who he could only assume was her old team along with Stan, Beatrice and Toby.

Dom and Hunter looked around and saw the team, comforting Hotch. They started to walk over sharing brief hellos and hugs. Hotch stood back not wanting too be apart of that, spotting the hearse driving down.

Emily, JJ and Garcia looked at each other, seeing Hotch's lips quivering. They frowned and tears started to stream down their cheeks as they watched Dom, Hunter, Rossi, Morgan, Hotch and Reid starting to get the coffin out, no words spoken between any of them.

They walked over to everyone else and held each other's hands. Tears started to stream down each of the mens faces as they carried the coffin to the plot, carefully placing it down. As everyone walked back to the crowd of people, Hotch placed his hand down, standing there for a moment, his tears dripping on the coffin.

''Today, we are all here to honour and pay our respects to Cameron Mackley. ...''., the funeral director lead the service., ''...A kind, bright and brave woman who risked her own life countless times to make this world a better place for our kids and future generations to come.
