Reporter Jovez : Wants to ?
Prof.Tony : Yes if you think about it, the primary difference between the rift and the usual portals is that there's a 'intent' in case of the rift
Reporter Jovez : ??
Prof.Tony : Yes, I can understand why you're confused, actually this part of the theory is all my personal speculation but, think about it, the rift itself took a whole year to prepare to transfer an "object" to our world
Reporter Jovez : I- I see
Prof.Tony : Yes so there's a chance that someone or something is actually causing the rift, but that's not our current concern. So yes, about the smaller portals, we know that they only appeared for a split second in the sky all over the world and they are linked to the rift. So in this case my thoughts are that it happened to increase the efficiency of the transfer
Reporter Jovez : (*at a loss of words and very confused ) ?
Prof.Tony :I've already told you that I believe that the rift has an intent. That is to transfer an "object". But what problems could possibly occur for a portal that wants to transfer the "object" ?
Reporter Jovev : What ?
Prof. Tony : Well ! It could be that the "object" itself is so huge that even the rift cant transfer it.
Reporter Jovez : But the rift, it's the biggest portal recorded in history, right ?
Prof.Tony : Yes, but since it still couldn't transfer the object, it opened smaller portals connected to itself or rather projected smaller fragments of itself in the sky all over the world and expelled some smaller parts of the "object" so the rift can transfer the main body of the "object"
Reporter Jovez : So what fell off from the smaller portals were um..shaved off parts of the real "object" ?
Nemo could tell that at this point the reporter guy had been stricken with so much curiosity that he didn't care about his job or maybe he forgot about the fact that this conversation was being broadcasted. He couldn't blame the guy, everything that the professor was saying made sense in accordance with what he knew as well. But still the professor was most probably a curious nerd. Being curious was fine but just what was he thinking telling the whole public about his 'personal speculations'. Even though he stated that what he's saying is just his theory with no real proof, but the people would definitely value what a professor from COSPU said more than some influencer or other theorists. Those two guys on the TV were giant idiots.
Prof.Tony : Yes. But now think about this, what exactly are the shaved off parts of the "object"
Reporter Jovez : Uh... lands or maybe soil and monsters ?
Prof.Tony : Yes exactly, landmasses. So what do you think is the main body of the "object" ?
Reporter Jovez : A much bigger landmass
Prof.Tony : Yes ! A landmass probably the size of a country, no, probably a continent. So ladies and gentlemen, here's the simpler version of my theory : There's gonna be a new continent. Right between the two already existing continents. And for anyone who has any sort of counter theory–
Then the call was suddenly cut. The reporter guy was confused. Then Nemo closed the TV. He already understood what he had to do from now on. Also he kept thinking about how idiot the professor was until he was stinged with a shiver in his spine from the giant Sp-signature slowly falling towards him. He remembered the current situation. Then he rushed back to Kanon. She was in her human-form now. She was still looking at the falling landmass. Her eyes were still glowing differently than usual. He asked her again
