Knocking on the mansion's door, I wait annoyed. I fiddle with the end of my blush dress. Niklaus answers the door and smirks at me. "The other two guests will be here soon, but I have a gift for you right now. Come on in."
Confused, I step inside and he closes the door behind me. Klaus leads me into a sitting room that has a big grand piano in the middle of the room and off to the side is a Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster in black. "I thought you might like this guitar. If you do, it's yours," he tells me. I look at him with wide eyes.
"You're kidding," I deadpan. He shakes his head. "Really?" He nods. "Thank you!" I run over and hug him quickly before pulling away and walking towards the guitar. "This is sick!"
Sitting in a chair with the guitar in my lap, I play part of a song I'm writing. (Not actually my song)
"Would you play the entire thing for me?" Klaus asks me.
I look up. "Uh.. I haven't written all of it but I can show you what I have so far," I offer. He nods. I restart the chorus, "I want permanence in the little things. While I leak rust from my broken jeans. I want to feel chaotic, but calm enough to hold you in the morning. We look for patterns in the static and there's a door that leads to nothing. But I hold my breath. You still haven't found me."
"That's what I have so far," I tell him.
He looks at me with a small smile and offers me his hand. "It was beautiful, love." I take his extended hand and stand, placing the guitar in the case that was next to it.
"I agree," I look towards the new voice. Elijah. "Hello, Amelia."
I smile slightly and the memories of the night I sang him one of my songs comes back to me. I walk up and briefly hug him. "How are you? I thought you were taking a potentially never ending nap."
Elijah chuckles, "Yes, well, the dagger was pulled from my heart. Might I ask what brings you here?"
"Klaus invited me to a dinner. Somehow I don't think I'm a key player in the reason for the meeting," I explain.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door. Elijah exits through the hallway opening and Klaus takes me through a different door that connects to a room that is set up for dinner.

When Klaus, Elijah, Damon, and Stefan start talking about doppelgängers, I just say duces and go into the other sitting room Klaus and I were previously in. I also place a protective spell on the room so that no one who wants to harm the people in the room can enter. After ten minutes, I smell burning flesh. Don't ask how I know that smell. "Can we take it easy on the burning alive?" I yell.
"Sorry, love. A pest is being idiotic," Klaus yells back. I sit down on a couch with my guitar and start playing around with lyrics for a new song (not my lyrics).
