Everyone sleeps over, and I get up to make omelettes the following morning. Finn is standing at the counter with Marcel, coffee cup in hand. The two guys pause their conversation and look up at me as I enter the kitchen. "G'morning," I mumble, getting out the ingredients.

"Good morning, Ames. How'd you sleep?" Marcel inquires.

I mumble a response of "Meh."

Finn walks up behind me and encircles me in his arms. "Good morning, Amelia. Thank you for letting me stay last night." I turn around to face him and raise myself onto the balls of my feet to kiss him on the cheek.

The doorbell rings and I inwardly groan, knowing I have to deal with the Mikaelson brothers at some point. "Finn, would you get the door? M, stand behind me... just for good measure." The two men do as I say and no more than six seconds later, the three aforementioned brothers are standing across the counter from me. "Omelette?" I ask nonchalantly, motioning to the different add-ins.

"Ooh. Bacon, cheese, spinach, and bell peppers please," Marcel requests. I nod and scramble his eggs before turning on the stove and pouring the eggs into a pan.

Klaus goes to lunge at Marcel, but I throw him back. "No violence. It's too early for that."

Elijah requests very politely that I make him a spinach and feta omelette, Kol asks for a Spanish omelette, and Finn requests a Mediterranean omelette. Klaus is too busy fuming like Bowser. I walk up to him and snap my fingers in front of his face. His head turns to look at me and he looks questioningly at me before asking, "Why couldn't we stay last night?"

"Your stupid vendetta against Marcel would incite a fight between you two and, quite frankly, I didn't feel like dealing with that or ruining my good night. Also, mischief follows Kol and you three knew Marcel. Finn didn't," I explain, taking my plate to a place at the dining table.

Before I could dig into my food, we hear heavy footsteps running down the stairs and Davina rushes into the room, engulfing me in a hug. I cast a quick spell for a privacy bubble then ask her what the matter is. "I had a nightmare about my mom. She came back to kill me," the teen reveals.

My arms tighten around her and I whisper, despite the privacy spell, "You're safe here, Vee, I will never let anyone hurt you, not if I can help it. Do you want my omelette? I'll go make another for myself." She nods and I stand up, guiding her into my chair. Removing the privacy spell, I wave off the concerned looks from the habitants in the room.

Just as I had told Davina, I make another omelette for myself and sit next to her at the table, joining the others who had now taken a seat. We eat in silence for a few minutes. Davina turns to me and murmurs, "Can I borrow a book and go spend some time in the garden?"

I nod and she busses her plate and then leaves. Looking towards the boys, I huff, "Figure out your shit now before someone else wakes." They are quiet for a moment before making conversation. I excuse myself to go get ready for the day and return in a white babydoll tank and some flare jeans. "Did ya figure it out?" I interrupt their seemingly friendly conversation.

"Somewhat," Marcel answers.

"I'm going to a farmers market close by, does anyone want to join?" I question, grabbing my bag from the table in the front hall.

"I'll tag along," Kol replies. I nod in agreement and we leave the house to start the walk to the market. "I have a question for you. Why is it that you don't like me?"

I sigh then respond, "It's not that I hate you, I'm just being cautious. I know you have a temper, much like Klaus, but I know Klaus is for some reason nice to me. I guess I haven't given you a fair chance." I look down at my shoes while I talk and his hand slithers into mine.

"Let's start from scratch then, hm?" He offers. I agree and we walk and talk the rest of the way to the market. I admittedly judged him too quickly.

We go from stall to stall, me picking out produce, and Kol joking around and making me laugh. He holds one of the two bags of food we got, and I hold the other. He stops, putting his arm in front of me so I stop with him. "What?" I ask curiously. He doesn't respond, only grabs my hand and pulls me to a stall selling crepes. The time is now almost eleven A.M., and my hunger is growing.

"You hungry?" He smiles. I nod and we order crepes, him paying before I could even take out my card.

The two of us laugh as we enter the house. Klaus speeds up to me, abruptly bringing me into his embrace. "Hello to you too," I murmur.

"You left me alone in a house with Finn, Elijah, and Bekah. It was torture," he pouts.

I look at him, raising an eyebrow, I ask, "You mean your family? And stop being a baby, Vee and Jer are more mature than you." He huffs and takes a step back. I walk into the kitchen to put away the groceries that I got with Kol. Vee greets me with a hug and I reciprocate it. Cami helps me in putting away produce, as does Marcel. "Where's Jer and the others?"

"They're playing Mario Kart in the living room, bracket-style," The blonde waitress informs me.

I nod before asking, "Who's winning?"

"Jeremy," Nik responds.

"I taught him well," I say, sounding like a proud parent.

It's now Monday and everybody but Finn has left. Jer and Dee are currently at school, so Finn and I are laying on the couch watching Pride and Prejudice (2005). He decided to stay with me for the foreseeable future. He is cuddling me from behind and begins to place kisses down my neck. I turn over and capture him in a passionate kiss, taking control.

We pull away, out of breath. "I really like you, Amelia," Finn confesses.

"I really like you as well, Finn Mikaelson.
