When Tighnari woke up the next morning, he was surprised to see Cyno next to him. It all felt like a dream but there he is. He placed a hand on Cyno's chest, making sure that he is completely real.

"Nari..." Cyno said, slowly opening his eyes, "Good morning."

"Good morning to you too."

He faced Tighnari and gave him one passionate kiss. One that made Tighnari whimper softly from how intense it felt. They lingered closely as they looked into one another's eyes. Then, Cyno gave him three quick pecks before sitting up.

"How long are you staying at Avidya?" Tighnari asked, holding his breath in anticipation.

"As long as you want me to," Cyno said. He winked at him and left the room.

"Good morning," Collei greeted them.

"Morning," they both said.

"I prepared breakfast for you guys."

"Thank you," Cyno said, "We have to eat and then you take me to the forest. I want to see it more for myself."

"Can you pass the grapes?" Tighnari said, reaching out.

Cyno looked at the grapes before snapping one off and holding it for Tighnari. "C'mon take it, my arm is starting to hurt."

He tried to grab it but Cyno lifted his hand high and raised a brow. Tighnari sighed. He glanced at Collei, who was doing a bad job at pretending to look away, and leaned forward to take the grape with his mouth. He sucked Cyno's fingers as he did so, turning him on.

Cyno looked away and finished up his food. He needed to distract himself but just the fact that Tighnari is right there drives him crazy.

"You done?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go," Tighnari said.

They strolled outside, Tighnari leading him to one of the spots most affected. "How's your wound now? It didn't bleed again, did it?"

"No, thanks to you."

"Listen, if walking hurts, we can go and come back another day."

"I'm fine, Nari," he said. He squeezed his shoulder. "Stop worrying about me, okay?"

He nodded and they continued walking. "These kinds of plants especially have been affected more than others. And the effect of the withering doesn't even reverse when cleaned. At this rate, the whole forest is going to dry out bit by bit," Tighnari said.

"Do you mind me experimenting on a few?" Cyno asked.

"Umm..."

"It's safe, you can trust me,"

"Fine," Tighnari said.

Cyno pulled out a few potions, pouring a bit of each one onto a leaf. They held their breath waiting for something to change. Tighnari's eyes lit up when one of the leaves turned a bright green once more.

"So that's the one," Cyno said, "Now I just need to make more of this, enough for you to use and store for the future too."

"Thank you," Tighnari smiled.

"Don't thank me yet. We'll see what happens." Watching the relief on Tighnari's face somehow gave Cyno life. "You really care a lot about those plants, huh?"

"It's not just 'plants'. It's a forest, an ecosystem. Something that affects every species that lives within it including us."

"Well okay, if that makes you happy," Cyno said. He put his hand on the back of Tighnari's neck and brought him closer to warmly kiss his forehead.
