Jacob day; A new friendship

An ex

For the next few days me and Jacob hung out a lot!
I bought a bunch of stuff for my new house, and spent a bunch of time setting things up.
Jacob got a job at my dads work, and I'm working at a nearby coffee shop.

October 28
It was 7:26 and we had a late supper,
We were sitting in the couch watching Hocus Pocus
J "so, it's pretty close to Halloween are you excited?"
Y "oh my gosh, yeah!"
J "my friend Thomas is having a big party at his place, how do you feel about going?"
y "that would be fun, we can show off our costumes. When is it?"
J "on Halloween, at 8:30"

We finished the movie and went to my room.
Y "I'm bored"
J "what do you want to do?"
Y "I don't know"
J "do you want to get ice cream?"
Y "yeah!"

This time I let Jacob drive, we got to McDonalds (romantic 😉)
I gave Jacob my card,
J "why?"
Y "I don't know, why not?"
He laughed, and then he paid.
Y "hey, I was supposed to pay!"
I lightly punched him.

After we got our ice cream, we went to my spot.
We got out, and Jacob grabbed my hand.
We sat down on the bench, looking at all the lights in town.
J "it's been a while since we were here last"
Y "yeah, I haven't been stressed or overwhelmed lately"
He smiled,
J "that's good"
Y "the last time we were here, I became your girlfriend"
He hugged me,
J " I LoveYou"
Y "I Love You Too Jacob!"

We finished our snacks and went home.
It was 10:52, and we went to my room.
Jacob's phone rang, it said Alexis.
He grabbed his phone and left my room.
I tried not to think about it, but that was very hard.

6 minutes later he walked back into my room.
Y "who was that?"
J "I don't know"
I could tell he was lying,
Y "who's Alexis?!"
J "she's no one!"
Y "fine"

I laid at the other side of the bed and looked at the wall.
J "hey, you're ignoring me!"
Y "yeah, what's the problem?"
I could hear in his voice that he was annoyed.
Then he rolled me onto my back and looked into my eyes.
J "Alexis is my ex, she came into work today and I got stuck with fixing her car. I want nothing to do with her, I have a girlfriend!"
Y "then what was the call about?"
J "I told her to call me and tell me if her car is running better, that's it"
Y "at 11:17, it's pretty late" I said rolling my eyes.

He then took off my necklace,
J "what letter is this?"
Y "did you not go to school? Why-"
He stopped me mid sentence.
J "what letter is this!"
Y "is a J, why?"
J "I got you this necklace, because Im yours and you're mine.
I wouldn't have got it for you if I didn't want you"
I smiled, he was right about that.
J "sorry I got mad, I have nothing to do with Alexis"
I kissed him,
And he put the necklace back bin me.

Y "ok, I need some sleep"
He got off me and laid down.
J "good night, babe"
Y "what did you just call me?"
J "uhh, babe?"
Y " you're literally precious!"
His face turned red
J "you're literally amazing!"
J "I love you, good night"
Y "good night my love "
He hugged me, and we fell asleep.
