Jacob day; A new friendship

Birthday party

February 19th
It's been almost 2 years, I realized that working to be a (some sort of job) was not my thing.
So I dropped out, and left to go home.
When I got home, I spent a few days with my parents.

February 21
I was talking with my mom,
M "so when are you gonna see Jacob?"
Y "I don't know, it's been forever"
M "oh come on, you need to go see him"
Y "it's his birthday tomorrow, I'll go and see him.

When I left, Jacobs friend, Thomas invited him to live in his giant mansion.

The next day I woke up at 12:52.
It was really late.
I had a shower, did my makeup, my hair and got dressed in something nice.

When I was done, it was 1:58.
I left.
I got a drink from Starbucks, and went to the mall to get Jacob a present.

I got him a hoodie.

I drove around for a bit until it was 4.
I drove to the house.
There were so many cars in the driveway, then I remembered Halloween night.
I felt nervous, but Jacob helped me.
But it's been a year, he's probably onto something new.

I walked inside to see Thomas,
T "hey it's so nice to see you, how was college?"
Y "it was ok, how are you?"
T "oh I'm good, what's in the bag?"
Y " I just got something for Jacob"
Then someone came over and got Thomas's attention.

I went to the kitchen, I was stressed so I got a drink.
It was strong, but that's what I wanted.
I sat at a table and a guy walked up to me.
? "You're pretty"
Y "oh uhh thanks"
? " how are you?"
Y "oh I'm good"
I quickly finished my drink and got another.
The guy kept talking to me until he was bored and left.

I was walking around and seen Jacob!
He went into a room, so I went over and knocked on the door.
J "who is it?"
Y "it's y/n"
He opened the door, I looked into his eyes.
It was him, after two years, I was so happy.
Until I seen some girl on his bed.
? "Who is this J?"
J "just an old friend"
He walked out and closed the door,
Y "who is that?"
J "just a friend"
Y "are you sure?"
J "we-
Then I heard a meow,
Y "oh my god, is that Theo?!"
J "yeah"
He opened the door and picked Theo up,
Y "your so handsome, I missed you"

The girl in the room seemed jealous,
? "J, why does she know you and your cat?"
J "we were friends, and this is her cat"
? "Just friends"
I looked at Jacob,
J "yes, now can you leave Alexis"
I was shocked, he got back with his ex.

She left and Jacob sat on his bed.
J "so how was school?"
Y "it wasn't my thing so I dropped out"
J "oh, I'm sorry"
Y "it's ok, it was my fault"
J "do you wanna go get a drink?"
Y "yeah sure, also take this"
I gave him his present.
J "thanks, I'm surprise you remembered"
Y "of course I did, we dated for a long time"
I put Theo down and we got some drinks.
