Jacob day; A new friendship

Surprise!

I woke up around 10 and went on my phone.
I posted some of the pictures from yesterday.

Then I noticed Jacob had texted me a few minutes ago,

Good morning loser

Good morning nerd

I got dressed, I wore this

A little while later I went shopping with my mom.
Y "what's the plan for today?"
M " we're going to some falls in about an hour"
I liked the idea of that plan.
Y "can I tag along and bring someone?"
She said yes so I invited Jacob.
He was excited to come along, so after we were done shopping we picked him up.

M "wow, this is a nice house"
Y "yeah, also can you please not be embarrassing around him"
Jacob came outside and got in the car.
J "nice to see you"
M "you too"

As soon as I started driving, my mom blurted out
M "sooo, I think you two would be cute together"
I looked back at Jacob, he smiled, and when I looked at the road he put his hand on my shoulder.
In the corner of my eye, I could see my mom was smiling.

When we got to my house, we quickly put everything inside and I changed into this,

When I got back in the car Jacob was in the front, and everyone else got into my moms truck.
J "so, your mom likes us hanging out?"
Y "yeah, I think it's pretty funny"

I was backing up and my hand was on the shifter, while I was paying attention to my surroundings Jacob put his hand on mine.
I didn't say anything, I just looked at him and smiled.

During the whole drive, me and Jacob were talking and singing our hearts out.

After a few hours we got to the trail.
I got out and grabbed my water bottle.
I was looking at Jacob and he noticed,
J "hey, what's up?"
Y "you look really good right now"

He was wearing this

J "so I don't look good all the time?!"
We both laughed.

When we started the walk, all I could think of was the guy walking next to me.
I felt closer to Jacob than I have ever felt with someone.

The walk felt like it took forever.

When we finally got to the lookout, I forgot about everything.

While I was looking at the view, everyone else kept walking.
I was about to say something, when Jacob hugged me from behind.
J " I really like spending time with you and I hope you feel the same"
Y "I really like hanging out with you too"
J " y/n, i think I'm In Love"
I thought it was funny so I told him,
Y "with who?"
I heard him sigh as he let go of the hug.
I turned around and looked at him,
He looked sad and disappointed.

I grabbed his hands and put them on my waist.
I pulled him closer to me.
He wouldn't make eye contact with me,
Y " hey, why aren't you making eye contact with me?!"
J "I don't know"
I grabbed his face, and made him look at me.
He finally looked into my eyes, but he wasn't very amused.
Y "Jacob"
J "hmm?"
Y "Im In Love Too"
I looked into his eyes, his face turned red.
Y "I think I Love You Too!"
I kissed him, it was pretty amazing.
After a few minutes, we continued along the trail.
The last part of the trail lead to the start of the water fall.

After about an hour we got back to my car.
Y "hey mom, guess what!"
I said as I was holding Jacobs hand.
Y "I've got a boyfriend!"
My mom was surprised, she hugged Jacob and me.
After some snacks, we started the drive home.

When we got to Jacobs house, it was dark.
He got out, came to my side and pulled me out to hug me.
J "goodnight my love" he whispered in my ear.
The ride home I was so happy, but also so tired.
As soon as I got inside, I went to bed.
