"Starting with a few simple break-ins and ending with multiple homicides, this once simple and quiet coastal town has once again been rocked by a bizarre and frankly quite frightening series of events. I'm here to tell you how the town of Lasdich went from thriving community to what some are calling the drug capital of Europe" announced the news reporter, slowly walking so the burning canning factory would come into frame. "As you can see behind me, a building is still partly engulfed in flames with firefighters doing their best to contain the blaze. So far, and much to the horror of nearby onlookers, multiple human remains have been recovered from parts of the building that are no longer on fire. The timeline that took place here today has locals wondering things like how did this happen?, Why is this still happening?, And how does it all tie to a college student that always appears to be at the middle of things? However, what the town's people should really be asking, and what me and everyone in the studio are also questioning, is why does all this trauma seem to befall this sleepy village and how much more of it can they take?"

"I've already told you what happened a million times" said Cassie, fed up. "Are you just purposely being this slow?"
"We just want to get all the facts straight" replied the interviewer that seemed so anonymous and lost in the crowd by this point that they might as well just be a voice. "So please, if you wouldn't mind going through the events of that day one last time."
"Fine, but there isn't going to be any new information" said Ani, sitting up straight and taking a deep breathe. "All things considered it was quite a normal day."
"We obviously didn't know how quickly it was going to go downhill" said Danny.
"What's the first thing you can remember happening?" Asked the interviewer, sliding the recording device a little closer to the person opposite.
"Probably when we were all in the office" answered Ani.
"Milo telling us to leave whilst we still could" answered Danny.
"Realising my friend was most likely going to die" answered Cassie.
"What were you feeling?" Said the interviewer.
"Well nothing good ever really happened in the office so I wasn't feeling too good" replied Ani, shrugging.
"What do you mean 'what were you feeling'?" Replied Danny, furrowing his eyebrows. "I was feeling shitty because it meant leaving one of my closest friends to die."
"Is that what you think occurred?" Said the interviewer, raising an eyebrow. "Do you believe he is dead?"
"There's no way he could have survived what happened next" replied Cassie, biting her lip and going silent.
"And what exactly did happen next?" Wondered the interviewer.
"The building burnt down" responded Ani, sighing.
"Why are you asking me this? You already know everything for fuck sake" responded Cassie, raising her voice slightly.
"We already know all the details. We now want to know how you really felt in those last moments" said the interviewer. "Those feelings would give a better insight into the atmosphere at the time. So, what was going on inside?"
"It's hard to explain... everything and nothing all at the same time" replied Danny, thinking hard. "You want to know what to do in situations like that and for some reason when you aren't in them you think you'll handle them like a pro... you're dead wrong."
