Questionable - Narcissa Malfoy nee Black

Part3: The Rose Garden

(It's a time skip,  August 1990.)

Years later, Lucius was walking in the rose garden as Narcissa was sitting on a broom. Her old broom from school teaching Draco how chase a snitch. He had forgotten how talented she had been at flying; it had given her joy and a group of friends that she thought she would never have and the almost sibling rivalry between her and Sirius.

He sat on the picnic blanket as Narcissa floated down to the grass. She had her small companion a descendant of Pickett in her pocket. She was kept busy looking after the small bow truckle as he discovered the niffler in her living room.

"Twiglet."  She said as she picked the millionaires bar on the plate on the blanket.

"Still your favourite." Lucius said as Draco joined them, he was eleven years old. He was spoilt and brat, Lucius had wished they had tried to have another child after losing their second child. Narcissa had refused to have anymore, and she hated him teaching their only son about the death eather and what they stood for, she never spoke boaut her older sisters.

"Mummy." Draco said as he wrinkled his nose at Twiglet.

"Summon Jax, I fancy some more Lemonade. " Narcissa's yawned as she  leant back on the blanket. It was the last day of the summer before he started Hogwarts.
There was noise from the house as Lucius heard his mother screaming at the top of he left lungs.
" what on earth?" Narcissa said getting up as she picked her skirts and ran to the orchid house.
"Xenophilius. My only living daughter is dead." Athena screamed at her son in law.
"What happened to me?" Lucius said as his mother began hiting Xenophilius.
"My little girl and you promised you'll make sure she wouldn't be killed with her bloody experiments with spells."
Athena flung serval hexs as she screamed bloody murder at him.
"Luna, my darling come here." Narcissa said crouching down to her nine year old niece.
"Mummys gone and daddy's gone crazy." Luna said as a matter of fact.
"Mother, your not helping and Xeno what happened to Pandora.?"
Later Narcissa paced the marble hallway as Lucius was sitting on the grand staircase.
"We need to gain custody not Luna or she's going to become like her father."
"No, Xeno needs her to be with him. Looney he might be he's always loved his daughter." Lucius said as he felt tired.
"You've lost the plot too." Narcissa said.
"I'm not sharing my toys with her." Draco said coldly.
"Don't be such a brat, Draco." Lucius said with a tone of anger in his voice as he pulled his only child to out the room.
"I dont see why I have to play with the looney." Draco really was not becoming the man, Lucius thought he would be.

"It's your entire fault that your son hasn't made friends with Harry" Narcissa said as she cut her bacon into strips. Lucius folded down the edge of the daily prophet he was reading.
It was the day after the sorting and beginning of term.
"How exactly is Draco's behaviour has to do with me."
"Oh I don't know, where would you like me to start?"  She said as Jinx brought her tea and millionaire biscuit.
"My fault, really I think it's both our faults."
"We should've fought Dumbledore over him with that appalling  aunt of his. James and Lily made me his legal guardian should something happen." She said.
"Just well he didn't, how would we explain to him and the rest of the wizarding world about how we got  raise Harry? I have  a feeling that we shall be at war again sooner or later." He said as he picked the cup next to him, his Irish hounds Grendel and Stirling wondered into the room.
"What we going to do the puppies?"
"Muggles love them, I'm registered breeder and I may keep on the females back with us. Get a younger male from another litter in the country."
"Oh I forgot Draco is in Slytherin." She said as she called jinx. " I think I'll make my triple chocolate brownies for him and hopefully he can make a friend some how."
