Lucius had not wanted to cave in to the demands of the death eaters and sister in law, he had never planned to join the wrong side of the war, he had never thought his wife would recoil from him and refused to lay in the same bed as him the evening he returned home with the calling card of Lord Voldemort on his left lower arm.

Narcissa had made it clear she would never trust him again since he went against everything she had detested about the death eaters. She had her way she would of take their only child and fled as soon as she could have done.

The bitterness had set in and she would shut him out her life with Draco, she doted on her son and spoilt him to no end. She never spoke about the day her sister ruined her life after losing her unborn child.

She hated Bellatrix to the point, she wanted to disown her older sister, she had lost Andromeda the second, she wrote to tell her that Lucius had the done the one thing she had begged him not too. The letter went unanswered and she could not even talk to Molly Weasley or let alone the one person she had not seen or spoken to in years Lily Evans, now Potter.

Narcissa spent days attending to the rose garden as she liked it there, away from the house during the summer and Draco played there with the small red dragon along with his other toys, he had was attached to that dragon since the day Charlie had been kind to him.

She had never even got say thank you to the second eldest Weasley child for his kindness to her son. Maybe one day she would be able to talk to them again. At least she hoped she would be able to see them again as friends and not enemies that they had become. She actually missed the twins and mischive they caused Molly to no end and all the children. Molly had whispered to her that she was one of Ginny's godmothers in name and maybe one day she would be able to spend time with her as equals.

"They are going to go after the boy." Severus said as she was busy pruning a rose bush in the garden, Lucius had finally gotten Draco a nanny as she had wanted to be a hands-on parent, but it meant they had associate with the other dark eaters and families.

"They are not going to murder a young boy, because of some stupid prophecy about the bloody dark lord and a small boy. They can all fuck off now." Narcissa said throwing the pruning shears on the soil as she fled back to the house.

"Please Cissa," Lucius said she whirled around to face her husband, she looked with him with distaste.

"All those years, we promised we would not be anything like my sister. Arache mean anything to you, I watched you screaming with pain and crying tears for your baby sister and yet you're willing to murder a boy the same age as your son. You disgust me, Lucius." She said as she walked up the stairs to her room.

She had it redecorated with small, tiny pink roses on the wallpaper and a lot of cream lace as she unlocked the door, which had become her safe haven in the manor when the death eater was in force and had lockdowns. She refused to go to bed with her husband anymore unless the dark lord made his presence know.

"Please Narcissa believe me, I never agreed with it."

"The man I married swore he would advantage his sister's death." Narcissa said as she picked up a carpet bag as she picked her clothes. "I will return to collect Draco."

"No."

"Lucius, we are done. This marriage over as of now." Narcissa shouted at him.

"Where exactly are you going to stay with?"

"My parents, anywhere but under this roof." Narcissa harled back at him. She picked the carpet bag and stalked out the house, slamming the heavy door behind her.

"Well done, my boy." Abraxas said as he looked at Lucius.

"Really don't start now, Father." Lucius said as he went up to the screaming boy on the landing.

"He had to be a Mummy's boy didn't he."

"That's not helping Father, not in slightest." He said

"I Wana Mummy." Draco screamed for almost an hour as he lay on the marble floor in the hallway. Lucius shoved a cushion under his son's head.
