With a simple cry of her name from a Blue Pegasus member, Hiro's head shot up. Eyes blaring with magical power, she shot forward, claws latching onto the pillar of FACE.
She launches upwards, scaling the stone bomb as though it was merely a step in her path. A stairway to their victory.
Stepping onto the top of the pillar, Hiro gazed around, spotting many, several more within her eye sight.
A deep breath, a long blink, and she opened her eyes once more as winds began to speed up around them. Lightning crackles and thunder booms as rain, hail, and snow begin to fall heavily, joining in the swirling mass of air around her form.
With a finale exhale, she presses her palms together.
"With the winds of wings, tried and true,
The thunder of gods, all who knew,
The lightning casting a brilliant glow,
With rain freezing into sleet and snow..."
Her hands spread, still parallel with one another, forming a magnificent ball of light and energy crackling between her fingers.
"A token, a price, paid in full.
A sacrifice made, not void or null.
Aid given to those I love so dear,
To help them vanquish their deepest fears."
In the sky, the center of the star grows larger, darker, winds spreading all across Fiore. The ball of energy grows larger, booming louder.
"A gift I was granted,
And for justice it shall be used.
To honor those I've lost,
And to save the rest, I choose..."
Her eyes open once again, blaring completely white as her palms shoot upwards, the ball of pure energy filling the swirling hole in the sky above her.
"Storm Dragon Forbidden Art;" she shouts, voice like thunder, elements swirling at her finger tips. Her skin cracks like ice, lightning running through the new crevices in her skin as frozen tears begin to drip down her face as she smiles desperately, painfully as agony courses through her freezing veins. "Eye of the Storm!"
And the sphere of energy widens into a beam, surrounding the entire face Hiro stands upon, and her scream is covered up by the loud crackling and rumbling that overtake the air as more pillars of pure magical beams surround the many faces within 50 miles of Hiro on all sides.
Underneath this energy, the stone cracks, the curse energy fading beneath the assault.
And, underneath this energy, Hiro's bones break and shatter with it.
With a final push of magical power, Hiro shrieks, the sheer force of it sending her flying. Her limp body sails through the air, blood dripping and falling like rain.
She can't open her mouth enough to scream, the skin around her cheeks shredded and cracked like broken glass. Her eyes are rolled back in pain, brain overwhelmed entirely with all the many painful sensations.
Her broken, beaten body lands amongst the rubble, skidding back along the ground, leaving a long mark of blood wherever she touches.
Her guild mates, hiding from the dragon battle happening nearby, ducking behind rubble, grimace.
"Another demon must've landed." Cana snarls, leaning around the large boulder she's ducked behind. "Get ready to beat it's-"
She freezes.
