"What's the deal Brain?"
"You know those twerps?"
"There's no doubt about it," Brain replies unhelpfully, cutting Hiro's growl off as she snorts, "Those two are Wendy Marvel and Hiro Hidashi, Maiden of the Sky and her partner, the Storm Bringer."
Hiro turned her gaze up to Wendy, scrutinizing the older girl's fearful face,
"What does that mean?" she asks, a tilt of her head to drill her curious question in, causing everyone but Flying-Carpet and Brain to sweatdrop.
"To think we stumbled upon them here." Brain says, a large grin spreading across his face. "Get them!"
"Wendy! Hiro!" One of the people shouted, just as Hiro gripped tighter to Wendy, spreading her feet. Wendy clutched her tighter as well, as the man's green magic shot out towards them.
Hiro's eyes stayed on the magic, ignoring the elder wizards, who are currently either stuck within the ground, knocked out, or poisoned. Then, once it was mere feet away, she leaped.
The magic struck the ground where they had just been standing.
"What-!?"
Hiro appeared moments later, lightning sparks around her form. Wendy clutched tighter to her friend's smaller shoulders, legs tucked tightly to Hiro's ribs.
Brain sneered, pulling his magic back only to send it out after them again.
"Get back here you brats!"
Everytime his magic got close to catching the girls, Hiro would bolt away once again, faster than any of their eyes could see, her eyes were focused, and Wendy had turned her dials to 1, so very little could distract her from annoying and evading the ugly, tattooed man. He snarled after the eighth attempt, once more barking out.
"STOP RUNNING!"
"No!" Hiro yelled back, sticking out her tongue and closing her eyes. "You can't make me!"
The man hissed, waving his staff once again. Hiro got ready to run, but something stopped her. The earth molded around her feet, making her unable to move in time. Her eyes widen, someone's running up behind her. She drops Wendy, pushing her away by a few feet before turning as much as she's able to. A sharp kick to the side of her skull knocks her back, and she hears a faint snap as her body falls. Strange, wasn't she supposed to be stuck? There's something wet running down her face, and she would scrunch her face up in disgust if she could.
Someone was screaming, was it Wendy? Why would she be screaming?
She heard several people yell around her, but it was fuzzy. Quiet. Wendy had turned her mufflers to 1, right? She'd just have to turn them back up to hear what they were saying. She tried to reach her arms up, but couldn't.
Her eyes opened slightly, and she saw the people they had joined up with watching her with wide eyes. A green glow came from around her middle, trapping her in place.
Over to the side, her bag lay on the ground, guarded by Bud. Mozart stood atop the large dog's head, tears in his eyes. Hiro didn't like the tears. Mo was supposed to call her a 'stupid girl', and yell at her for getting hurt. Her narrowed eyes scrutinized him, pain boiling in her ribs, legs, and head. She could only say one thing to him, before the green glow engulfed her entirely as black consumed her vision.
"Why are you crying, Mo?"

Mozart had remained silent since Hiro, Wendy, and the blue tomcat had vanished into the portal. No one pushed him to talk, allowing him to sit atop the large dog, Bud, and carry the bag that had been torn from Hiro's back. He was silent as Erza demanded they cut off her poisoned arm, only speaking up after Carla started.
