The night continued with no sign of stopping. Rounds kept emerging on the table and everyone kept drinking.

Daniella wasn't drunk but her body began to lighten up and all her cares began to slowly drift.

She watched as Nat and Jake played an intense game of pool. Dani's foot tapped to the music that spun through the bar. Song from her childhood that everyone knew but rarely played now, the good type of music.

Phoenix took a shot and Dani cheered as she watched it roll exactly where she needed it to go.

Hangman took his shot which she had to admit wasn't as impressive. Nat passed the cue to Dani and looked down at her. "Take the shot for me, imma get a drink."

Dani nodded and stood up near the table, lining herself up. To get to the ball, meant she needed to stand in front of Rooster. She'd tried her best to avoid him since they walked in tho she'd caught her eyes drifting onto him more times than she'd like to admit. She could feel his body lingering behind her, shadowing over her.

Her chest lay across the table as she studied the balls and where they would end up. She shimmed her back end out to get comfy before taking the shot, and a perfect shot at that.

She leapt up in a cheer but no noise came from either one of the boys watching.

She glanced up at hangman who was sleazily watching her with a grin on his face, Dani shook her head in disgust. "Hot." Was the only words he could seem to get out.

She then spun around to find Rooster exactly where she had suspected he was tho his eyes were glued tight to her body. Her eyes met his and he quickly coughed into his drink as he took a sip, attempting to play off the fact he'd been caught staring.

"Where are you checking me out, Bradshaw?" Dani questioned him as she leaned against the cue whilst hangman took his shot.

He hesitated before answering honestly. "What if I was." Rooster wondered with no scene of regret. Dani rolled her eyes, getting back into position to shoot again.

"I'd call you a pig." She took the shot pulling the cue behind her more than she needed to, deliberately aiming and hitting Rooster in the groined causing a grunt to whimper from his lips as Dani watched the ball roll into the corner whole.

She moved her head round to find Bradley curled over holding his stomach, a proud smile played on Daniella's lips as she watched him struggle. He fought through the pain to flip her off but she simply just blew the man a kiss.

Chuckling emerged from hangman as he watched the two bicker but Daniella whipped her head round, glaring at Jake, "don't even get me started on you" she threatened to the boy from the other side of the table.

Phoenix arrived back with her drink and took her place back in the game.

Daniella shuffled back beside Rooster as she watched them play.

Rooster held his eyes closed at the smell of sweet perfume coming from the girl with the face of an angel to match. She was unreal, he would never admit it but he knew.

Dani found herself glancing up at Bradley every so often, the surprise of how he looked now still had her speechless. He had changed immensely.

"Starting problem?" Rooster's joking tone pulled Dani out of her gaze and the moment she heard his voice the rage began to pump through her again, remembering why she'd never looked at him like this until now.

His tone was too friendly for her, he may have wanted to pretend like nothing had happened but Daniella definitely hadn't forgotten.
